I have been caring for children since I was 14 years old, beginning with babysitting and later helping my mom with her home daycare while I was in high school. I am also a mom to 14 year old twin boys, so I have extensive hands-on experience caring for children and managing the needs and personalities of multiple children at once. As my twins have gotten older, I’ve found myself missing the younger years and the joy of caring for little ones. That is one of the reasons I’m excited to work with younger children again. I genuinely love working with kids and enjoy creating a fun, safe, and positive environment for them. I love taking children on fun activities, keeping them engaged, and helping them learn and explore. I understand that every child is different and have experience with the different stages of child development, from infants and toddlers through school-age children and teenagers. I am responsible, patient, outgoing, social, and dependable. I’m comfortable preparing meals, keeping children’s areas tidy, helping with household tasks, and caring for multiple children. I’m also attentive to children’s individual needs and believe in providing a caregiver experience where children feel safe, comfortable, supported, and able to have fun! I currently own and operate a hair salon, and I am looking to add childcare to my life in a way that allows me to continue doing both. Owning a salon has strengthened my organization, communication, time management skills. It has also taught me how to build trust, maintain a welcoming environment, and provide personalized attention qualities I bring to childcare as well. I am responsible, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities while providing attentive and personalized care.

I have been taking care of children and seniors for 30 years and honestly brings me joy to be able to help others as well as taking care of pets which I absolutely love animals. I have been told by a lot of people that I have a kind heart and that I will go out of my way to help those that need it the most and I know how important it is to provide good care and have the patience that is needed and just to know that I've made that small difference in somebody's life. I also love doing various activities no matter what age group as well as cooking and cleaning and spending that quality time getting to know the families.
