Hi - My name is Christina, I’m 30 years old and I'm currently in school to get a degree in Public Health. Once I complete my degree, I would love to have the title, “child and maternal health advocate”! I started working in child care 10 years ago as a lead teacher in a toddler classroom at a daycare. After a few years there, I moved on to becoming a nanny. I’ve been a nanny to two amazing families since 2016. Im thankful to have held long term positions. He goes to Dialysis three times a week of which I have already put into the hours I can work and he also has short-term memory loss. I have a great deal of patience and empathy for those that are younger and those that may have minor mental and emotional problems. I take very seriously what it is that I do. I do not consider these individuals as lesser people. I especially love children. I have 10 grandchildren, and I taught all of them how to swim. I was a major part in their lives and as a result of my support as has been told to me by my children, my grandchildren are stable and productive individuals in the society. But I mostly love and enjoy little one’s handicapped or not.
