Hi there! I’m Roua, 29, and I’m looking forward to finding a family to work with. I’ve cared for children of all ages, from infants as young as 5 months to kids up to 13 years old. Growing up, I spent a lot of time looking after my nieces, and I’ve always loved helping kids learn, explore, and grow. As I got older, I worked at the “Kids Club” at the Concord UFC Gym for 2 years, where I cared for multiple children and helped plan fun and creative activities. I’m happy to help with meals, light housekeeping, and coming up with games and activities that keep kids engaged and happy. I’m also a San Francisco State University graduate in Anthropology, and I bring patience, energy, and a love for working with children to every family I work with! COVID-19 vaccinated

Roua was wonderful with my 6 month old! Phenomenal communicator, and super confident, thoughtful, experienced, flexible and caring. Strongly recommend Roua!

Hi! I’m a loving and experienced nanny who has cared for children of all ages over the last 20+ years. I’m a nurturer by nature who has always enjoyed caring for children. I’m also a proud mom. I have a stepson in college and my daughter and son are 15 and 14 years old. Additionally, I taught 3rd grade for a few years before having my own children. I’ve been blessed to have worked for many amazing families over the years and I always form a close bond with them. I can’t even count the amount of children I’ve been so lucky to have loved and watched grow up. There is something so beautiful about seeing the world through the eyes of a child and helping them grow and explore the world around them. I’m patient, fun, empathetic, warm, kind, friendly, easy going, competent, communicative, and trustworthy. While I am comfortable caring for a child at any age, I especially enjoy the little ones- babies, toddlers, and young kids. I always have, and being a mom of early teens now, I especially often miss those baby days, although I remember how hard it can be too, so I empathize with parents. My children are my life and greatest joy, and I always treat other children as if they are my own. Parents are a child’s first teacher so I am very respectful and responsive to the parents’ wishes. Currently, I’m looking for my next wonderful family to connect with. I’m particularly interested in 20-30 hours/week. I’m CPR/FirstAid certified and also happy to provide references if needed. Looking forward to finding the right fit. 😊

Hello! I am a proactive, responsible and dedicated nanny, family assistant and household manager. I have 10 plus years of recent professional experience, excellent references, letters of recommendation, and I am ready for my next long term role. I love adventuring with kids or interactive playtime at home. I enjoy going for hikes in nature, walks to the park, library or museums, spotting airplanes, wildlife, flowers, great books and art. I also like playing games and doing arts and crafts, building lego creations & forts, playing with dolls and animals, or reading books with hot cocoa on a rainy day. A simple peek-a-boo session, singing ABC’s, practicing counting or tummy time for the little ones:) I have experience providing support with school drop off/pick up, driving children to and from after school activities, homework assistance, as well as household chores, preparing snacks & meals, doing laundry, running errands, dog walking, traveling with the family and overnight care. In addition, I have experience managing and assisting with household inventory, scheduling appointments and communicating with contractors, housekeepers or caterers, organizing closets and calendars, and managing packing lists and travel preparations. I am discreet and respectful of a family’s privacy when needed and yet I welcome sharing a meal with them when invited. I am flexible enough to calmly transition from meal prep to children to dishes and back to children again:) I am very healthy and live an active lifestyle outside of work. I am close to completing my psychology degree for transfer, with all classes being held asynchronous, which allows me the ability to fully commit to other responsibilities. I plan to stay in the Bay Area as I continue to pursue my higher education. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions. I look forward to connecting with you soon!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
