Booked by 4 families in Alamo, CA

Hi, my name is Kristen, and I'm 25 years old. My experience with children includes working as a special education assistant at preschools and elementary schools since 2018, and nannying occasionally for families. I have a childlike spirit, and love planning fun themed activity days with the kids, arts and crafts, dancing to Disney soundtracks, and going on field trips to parks and museums! I love curling up in cozy corners at the library, where the kids and I can learn about animals, caring for our environment, outer space, and ancient history together! Another big hobby of mine is video and board games, so I would love to have game nights with the kids after they do their homework! :) I was encouraged to nanny because of my mindfulness and gentleness with kids. I care greatly about listening openly to children and their needs, instead of using a strict, disciplinary approach. I am good at soothing intense emotions and handling chaotic situations in a calm, gentle, and compassionate manner. I'm looking forward to meeting you, your kids, and your pets!! Thank you for your time! <3

Hello, My name is Vania. I am looking for a part time job on the weekends or weekday evenings :) I have three years of experience supporting families. I hold a college degree and maintain current CPR Training. I look forward to hearing from you!

Vania helped out while our regular nanny was out. She was on time, flexible (changing hours, meeting at the park instead of house), and great with the kids.

Hi! When I came to this country, I always dreamt of working with kids, but I found whatever job I could. I am now at a point where I can do what I love. I have three grandchildren (ages 11, 9 & 8) and I was their primary care taker since they were born, while working my other job. I can’t explain how much I’ve enjoyed it. I am not the best with technology & sometimes my English isn’t as quick (it’s at a 75%), but I use all my resources & can figure it all out. I take my job seriously and am very cautious & devoted to it. If given cthe opportunity, you won’t regret it. And I love pet too…I work with a family in the mornings (7:00-10:00)

$34 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 7 families in Alamo, CA

Hi families! My name is Yasmin. I am a 30 year old childcare professional with 10 years of experience. My passion for working with children began at home as the oldest of four siblings–my youngest brother is only 7, and watching them grow has been a inspiration for my career. My professional journey began in 2017 during an exchange program in Switzerland, where I cared for a child from birth through age two. I later moved to the U.S. as an Au Pair, caring for three girls (ages 16 months, 4, and 6). Since then, I’ve continued working with families while consistently building and improving my skills. I am a certified postpartum doula and maintain CPR/First Aid certification for infants and children every two years. I have hands-on experience with feeding, diapering, and soothing newborns, including overnight care as a nighttime nanny. I’m also confident caring for babies who are learning to crawl or walk, and I enjoy encouraging their development through gentle play and interaction. In addition, I have experience with toddlers and school-aged children, supporting everything from potty training and homework help to meal prep and bedtime routines. I’ve also worked with children on the autism spectrum. I would love to bring my experience, flexibility, and positive energy to your family. I’m pet-friendly and have a valid driver’s license. I look forward to connecting with you!

Yasmin was great with our 4-year-old daughter. Our usually shy daughter was sad when Yasmin had to leave and ran up to give her a big hug goodbye. Highly recommend.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
