Hi, I’m Dilan, an Ecuadorian architect and educator with experience in extracurricular activities; I’ve been working in the New School of SF with children for over five years. I lead a wide range of activities, including motor skill development, math, handwriting, and dance (I am a professional dancer and a member of a dance troupe Instagram: @chekumbe). I have worked with children with autism and anxiety; this experience has taught me how to understand them and view the world from a different perspective. I currently assist two families on a regular basis, handling cooking (I managed a family restaurant in Ecuador), deep cleaning the home (I am very meticulous about cleanliness), running errands, and childcare. I am physically capable of moving heavy objects and am an excellent "manny." I treat children with love and respect, and I am an animal lover: I have three dogs at home (one is 14 years old) and a rescued cat.
