Nafula 1 review
$38 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 4 families in Albany, CA

Hi families! My name is Nafula, a mom of two (ages 10 and 7) with extensive childcare experience caring for children from newborn stage through age 18. Over the past two years, I’ve supported many families across the U.S., providing both daytime and overnight care, including newborn routines, feeding, bathing, sleep support, and age-appropriate developmental activities- I’ve worked under care.com I’m calm, patient, and highly reliable, with a strong focus on creating safe, nurturing, and structured environments where children can thrive. I also enjoy supporting parents—especially with newborns—by sharing practical guidance on routines, soothing techniques, and overall care. Families I work with appreciate my attention to detail, trustworthiness, and ability to adapt to each child’s unique needs. I look forward to connecting with your family! 💛

Truly awesome!! Macula was incredibly helpful with both the baby and all the household items. She helped to reorganize the baby clothes perfectly and applied great judgment. My toddler also warned to her very quickly. 10/10 recommend

Amelia $20 per hour for 1 child

I have worked for at least a couple of families. The first family I worked for I took care of 10 kids a couple times a week with a helper. The second family I worked with are 2 boys ages 6 and 8 for 3 to 4 hours a couple times a week. Another family i worked for was 3 days a week for ages 5 and 7. The last family I worked for was an 18 month old as well as a 3 month old. Each family I worked for about 2 years and still have good relatuonships with. Most families have moved out of the area though.

Aurora $28 per hour for 1 child

Hi ! My name is Aurora and I currently work as a ParaEducator and an After School teacher for an Oakland Middle School. I have been working with kids for about 6 years now, not including my volunteer work for OUSD. I am 25 years old, born and raised here in Oakland. I love working with children and what I have learned working with youth is the impact one can have on them. I have learned that children need a patient and understanding adult so they can succeed and thrive. Also, I get to learn a lot from kids! Every child is different and I love to learn from them. Outside of work, I like to spend the evenings with my dog and take him to the park or on walks. I'm fluent in English and Spanish and do my best to create a warm and safe environment where kids feel comfortable and cared for. I am very flexible with hours! I work Monday-Friday from 8a.m-6 p.m. Feel free to reach out and we can work a time out!

Naomi $30 per hour for 1 child

I am a law degree holder with 9 units in Early Childhood Education and several years of experience working with children. My background gives me a unique balance of professionalism, responsibility, and a strong understanding of child development. I truly enjoy supporting children in their growth, whether through educational activities, creative play, or helping them build confidence in their daily routines. I have worked with kids in different age groups and know how important it is to create a safe, positive, and nurturing environment where children feel valued. Families can rely on me to be attentive, patient, and dependable. I enjoy designing activities that are not only fun but also support learning, communication, and social skills. In addition to my academic and caregiving experience, I am creative and resourceful, with skills in social media and content creation. This creativity allows me to keep children engaged with new ideas, games, and projects that spark imagination. I also bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a calm personality that helps me adapt easily to different family needs.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
