Hi, I’m Dilan, an Ecuadorian architect and educator with experience in extracurricular activities; I’ve been working in the New School of SF with children for over five years. I lead a wide range of activities, including motor skill development, math, handwriting, and dance (I am a professional dancer and a member of a dance troupe Instagram: @chekumbe). I have worked with children with autism and anxiety; this experience has taught me how to understand them and view the world from a different perspective. I currently assist two families on a regular basis, handling cooking (I managed a family restaurant in Ecuador), deep cleaning the home (I am very meticulous about cleanliness), running errands, and childcare. I am physically capable of moving heavy objects and am an excellent "manny." I treat children with love and respect, and I am an animal lover: I have three dogs at home (one is 14 years old) and a rescued cat. Dear family : Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. I'm Jenny (Yanli), a college student at UC Berkeley currently. It's the 10-year babysitting experience that taught me self-parenting and to stay curious about everything. It's fun to explore new things and keep learning. From this mindset, my journey started at Berkeley Adult School for basic English in 2016 as an au pair, and then Berkeley City College for psychology& cognitive science from 2[removed](part-time), and now at UC Berkeley for Philosophy of Mind (2024-2026). While I'm in school, it's the love from the kids and parents that inspires me to move forward and keep learning. Now, I come back to play with kids since I miss the nature of kids and have extra time in my last semester in 2026 spring. Having taught kids art, acrylic painting, and DIY paper craft through this 10-year journey, I'm eager to keep exploring the creativity kids naturally have. I used to be an au Pair in 2016-2017 after I got training in New Jersey for one week about babysitting, as well as a CPR certificate and a first aid certificate from the American Red Cross. Regarding personality and lifestyle, I'm a big fan of yoga, love art so much. I'd love to go to nature with kids, do yoga together, and visit museums. Happy to share what I'd like to do with kids: 1. Hello! My name is Rakita I have over 25 years of babysitting and nannying experience with ages newborn to 12 yrs. I love to have fun, play games, read and provide excellent care to my families. I love to find out what my children’s interests are and allow them to lead in their play. For the little kiddos - playdoe, music, coloring and/or making toy/lego art. A favorite of mine is making oooblek which is a wonderful goo that toddlers to 3rd graders love to make. I also love to incorporate fun meal prep activities based on a child’s food preference and allergies. So if your child would like, we can make ants on a log (celery, your preferred butter if not peanut and raisins) or we make our own S’morse minus the camp fire☺️ or they help me make cookies and we decorate them, we can also decorate graham crackers if you prefer we don’t use the oven.
