Hi! My name is Juanita, and I am fully bilingual in English and Spanish. I’m currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at San Francisco State University, and I’m passionate about working with children, supporting families, and creating safe, positive environments where everyone feels comfortable and cared for.
I have several years of experience working with children of all ages through schools and after-school programs as a Paraprofessional, Instructional Aide, and Co-Lead. My experience includes providing one-on-one academic support, assisting with homework, planning fun and educational activities, encouraging positive behavior, supervising students, and helping classrooms run smoothly. I’ve also mentored a high school assistant and enjoy being a positive role model for children.
Beyond childcare, I’m happy to help with household services such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, organizing, running errands, transportation, and homework assistance. My background in social work has strengthened my communication, patience, empathy, and problem-solving skills, allowing me to build trusting relationships with both children and parents.
Families describe me as dependable, responsible, organized, compassionate, and easy to communicate with. Whether you need a caring babysitter, extra help around the house, or someone who genuinely enjoys supporting families, I’d love the opportunity to help!
