Charmaine Los Angeles
$22 per hour for 1 child

Hello, Charmaine and I am currently finishing my studies in early childhood care with Los Angeles Community College District: Learning 0 to preschool age. I have previously worked at the child care center for a few months and volunteered some time back for 6 months at a in-home child care facility. My initial experience comes from being the eldest of five siblings who are all of age now. My personal traits working with children is lead by honesty, patience, kindness and being optimistic. My studies have taught me the importance in observing every child's development as individuals. I am a great person for this job because I am a person that truly cares about a children beyond the books and structure in a classroom. I look at everything as a learning experience for toddlers, grade school and even teens. I also have experience for teaching dance for a three churches over 10 years from ages 5 and up: I truly care about our children of today. My talents are dancing, singing, drawing/painting and teaching. Teaching has been a natural trait of mine since I can remember. I was a also a caregiver for seniors for 2 years, I enjoyed caring and building relationships with my clients. Some I had to cook for, others I had to clean and ensure that they had everything they needed before my leave. Lastly, I spent my whole live caring for others and even in the difficult days which I'm sure there will be, I was still committed to helping them.

Natale Santa Monica
$25 per hour for 1 child

Hi, I’m Natále, a musician, writer, and creative community builder with a lifelong connection to caring for children. All the women in my family (my grandmother, stepmother, and aunts) have run daycares for as long as I can remember, so I’ve been surrounded by kids (and helping with them) since I was one myself. Over the years, I’ve worked as a camp counselor, voice coach for youth, and mentor for young creatives. I love helping children express themselves through music, art, and storytelling while also creating a calm and safe environment where they feel seen and supported. Beyond childcare, I host community gatherings centered on connection and creativity, so bringing people together comes naturally to me. Families describe me as intuitive, reliable, and deeply caring. I believe in nurturing imagination and self-expression just as much as structure. I’m comfortable caring for kids of all ages, assisting with homework, organizing creative play, and supporting household needs or pets. Most importantly, I treat each family I work with as an extension of my own, bringing warmth, patience, and positive energy into their space.

Hi there! I’m a 25-year-old Psychology major, fluent in both English and Spanish, and I’ve been working as a nanny/child care provider for over 3 years. Caring for kids has always been a passion of mine, and it all started when I began looking after my younger sister as a teen! I’m currently seeking side gigs, occasional, or part-time babysitting opportunities where I can bring fun, positivity, and my child development knowledge into the mix. As a child psychology major, I love using what I’ve learned to support emotional and cognitive growth through activities that are both fun and educational. I’m always punctual, reliable, and never call off. Plus, I have my own car, so I’m able to be on time and take kids on outings if that’s something you’d like. And of course, I’m CPR certified for peace of mind. I love creating a fun environment for kids, whether we’re playing indoors or outdoors. I’m all about making sure they have a blast while staying safe!

Bridget Santa Monica
$28 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in Culver City, CA

Hello. My name is Bridget and I am new to Urban Sitter although I am a lifelong caregiver. I’ve worked with all ages, including babies, children and seniors. I’ve worked in many different settings, including the mainstream Kindergarten and First grade as academic and classroom support, as well as a Paraeducator in special education supporting one specific student throughout their school day, ages 5-12. Both of these were at Elementary School level for the past 10 years, Also, I’ve worked many summers in the district campus daycare with babies aged newborn to two years old, as well as in the preschool with ages 2 1/2 to 5 years old. I’ve also tutored middle school students, both mainstream and special needs, in the home setting during distance learning. Prior to this, I’ve worked in the theater and stage setting as an actress working with oral deaf children learning to use their voices with confidence and breath control. We used the stage as a tool for projection. These children were aged 4-12 years old, and I worked with them after school and on weekends, on and off, for years. Personally speaking, although I am a single mother of two young adults and one about to be, my earliest and greatest on the job experience came when I was 10 years old, and was older sibling to a to a one-year-old baby sister, and newborn baby brother. Real hands-on learning while carrying the most precious cargo. I would also like to add that I think and act in real time in every situation. Over the years I’ve had to utilize emergency life saving techniques five times, such as the Heimlich maneuver, and CPR, all with life-saving results. On one occasion even stabilizing a stroke victim while waiting for medical help to arrive. I take everything very seriously, but I also like to have fun. I love to make people laugh, and kids and the elderly love to laugh with me. I also housesit, do housecleaning, and pet care as needed. Thank you very much for your time. Sincerely.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
