My name is Life, and I’m currently a senior at UC Berkeley studying Legal Studies and African American Studies. I’m offering child care, tutoring, and household support services.
I am new to Urban Sitter, I have been working primarily with one family over the past 3 years who are now moving away.
I enjoy working with kids and have over seven years of experience in babysitting, nannying, tutoring, and outdoor education-youth programming. I’m comfortable supporting a range of ages as well as multiple kiddos at once. I love engaging kids through creative activities, reading, outdoor time, and helping with homework or routines. I aim to create a calm, safe, and affirming environment where your child feels supported, and you feel at ease.
In addition to babysitting, I’m happy to help with light household tasks, including cooking, meal prep, tidying up, organization, and running errands. I follow a whole-food lifestyle myself, and can prepare nutritious meals if needed.
I’m responsible, communicative, and dependable, with strong time-management. I love dogs, and am happy to provide pet care as well. I am also a licensed driver.
A little bit more about me, I am a hobby person. I love sewing, making herbal tea blends, reading, hiking, hanging out with my sister, watching sci-fi movies, and cooking.

We are only parting ways because our family is moving, and we will truly miss having Life as part of our routine. Any family would be lucky to have her.”
