Hey! Im Aliché, a 28 yr old Bay Area raised Cali girl. I’m from Alameda, a twin and the eldest of 3 siblings. I have over 7 years of experience nannying, and overall childcare through Care.com after school programs and family referrals. I’m new to UrbanSitters but very seasoned on Care.com. I was a Youth development leader for an afterschool program working with grades 2nd- 8th grade. A daycare teacher years prior with a full classroom of 3-5 year olds with many different personalities. I’m very patient, attentive and overall someone that you can trust to have your child’s happiness and safety as my first priority. I have plenty of experience with infants through the same day care, Care.com, and family members as well. I like active play time, whether that be indoors and/or outdoors. My motto is positive reinforcement when needed, compassion always and genuine integrity. Any child in my space will be loved, protected and treated no differently than I would with the children I adore dearly in my family. I love extending my warmth to the babies. My services come with assistance with laundry, light cooking, errands, and doctor appointments. I’m not allergic to any pets or worried to work around them.

I have been a teacher working in Bay Area kindergartens and preschools for 12 years and currently work as a behavioral specialist for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. I hold a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis/ Special Education. I speak fluent Hebrew and English, and functional Spanish. Hi! I’m a UC Berkeley psychology student who genuinely loves working with kids. I’ve been tutoring students since fifth grade and have spent years caring for my younger cousin (now 7) and her friends. I currently serve as a National Next Gen Advisor for NAMI and as a UCLA Family Advisory Board Member, where I’ve had the opportunity to advocate for children, teens, and families. Those experiences have taught me the importance of patience, communication, and helping every child feel seen, heard, and supported. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, have a valid driver’s license, and am a non-smoker. I’m happy to help with homework, meal prep, bedtime routines, pets, and anything else that helps make your day a little easier. One thing that’s really important to me is being present. I believe some of the best parts of childhood happen when we’re reading books, baking cookies, building forts, playing outside, doing crafts, making up silly games, or simply talking about our day. While I’m always happy to follow your family’s routines, I try to keep screen time to a minimum because I’d much rather spend that time making memories, encouraging curiosity, and helping kids build confidence. Hi I’m Maddie and I currently work as an outdoor educator making the transition to classroom teaching this fall. I’ve worked in various childcare environments, finding the most reward from programs that prioritize outdoor experience, hands-on learning, creativity, and play. My interest in working with kids began in high school through various summer nannying and babysitting gigs, support at local in-home daycares and eventually with a local preschool. I’ve spent the past 5 years working in more structured outdoor-based school-year programs and summer camps. Within all of these roles I’ve worked with children of all ages, needs, backgrounds and experiences, allowing for me to have a deep understanding of how to support each child as an individual. I really appreciate being able to connect with all kids, and find great connection with people on the spectrum, or with behavioral needs. When working with kids, I love to find a balance between being energetic and silly with them while still maintaining respect and expectations. As an individual I could be described as silly, loud, and caring, I love spending time outside, doing all sorts of crafts and listening to live music. I am really excited to spend my summer hanging out with some cool kids and have a really flexible schedule. I’m open to consistent opportunities or occasional ones as well. If the fit is right I would also be open to maintaining a relationship into the school year for weeknight or weekend jobs. I am fingerprinted and background checked in CA, have an up to date Adult and Infant CPR and First Aid certification, a Wilderness First Aid certification as well as a Mental Health First Aid certification.
