Hi i’m Kenna! I am currently a science teacher for 6th grade. Previously, I worked as a 5-8th grade science teacher at a K-8 school. I am CPR and first aid certified. Additionally I have experience with 3-6 year olds as I was a lead camp counselor for 3 months over the summer. I’m new to babysitting via apps but would love to break into the mold and connect with families. I have always had a love for helping children. As a teacher, I’ve loved getting to know my students and creating meaningful bonds with them. Growing up in a large, age-diverse family gave me the unique opportunity to help care for children from a very young age. In addition to my younger siblings, I became an aunt at 10 years old and now have seven nieces and nephews whom I absolutely adore. I’ve proudly helped care for them at various stages of their lives. These days, I'm often helping out with my two grade school nephews, who live in the city as well; this includes babysitting, occasional school pickups, organizing activities, outings, cooking, and helping around the house. I love artsy activities - lately we've been drawing/painting, making zines, and making patches/embroidering.
