Dear wonderful families, Greetings from San Francisco! As a native of this vibrant city, I have been fortunate to grow up in a big family, surrounded by children. These early experiences have shaped my childcare ethics and instilled in me a deep understanding of the joys and challenges that come with caring for little ones. As an energetic and proactive nanny, I take great pleasure in creating child-friendly activities that engage and excite young minds. Sensory play is one of my specialties, as I believe it is crucial to tailor activities to each child's age and developmental stage. Whether it's exploring different textures, colors, or sounds, I strive to provide enriching experiences that foster growth and learning. Being a non-smoker, I prioritize the well-being of the children in my care. I actively promote language development through reading, singing (even if my singing voice isn't the best, I give it my all), and storytelling. Each child is unique, and I find great joy in learning about their individual personalities, tailoring my approach to meet their specific needs and interests. With a vivid imagination, I love to plan spontaneous outings, organize fun playdates, and incorporate music and dancing into our daily routines. Creating a dynamic and joyful environment is my goal, where children can explore, express themselves, and have a blast. Every moment spent with children, regardless of age or special needs, is a source of immense fulfillment and happiness for me. Looking ahead, my dream is to establish my own in-home daycare and become a family consultant. Each day, I work towards these aspirations, taking steps closer to achieving my goals. It is a journey filled with excitement and growth, and I am grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of the children and families I encounter. I am committed to providing exceptional care, nurturing creativity, and supporting your child's development. Together, we can create a loving and stimulating environment that fosters growth and happiness. -Stefany Nini poppins❤️

Stefany is an obvious pro. Great communicator. Highly recommend!

Hi! My name is Chelsea and I live in the Castro. I studied Psychology at San Francisco State and have always had a special interest in child development. I am the eldest of six and have extensive experience working with children of all ages. Before I moved to the Bay Area, I worked as a household manager/nanny for entrepreneurs, an overnight nanny for a nurse, and as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) working with children with behavioral difficulties and developmental disabilities providing ABA therapy. In addition, I’ve worked intermittently as a sitter over the last 13 years, as a classroom aide (K-3), a summer camp counselor for middle school age children, a private reading tutor, and a dog walker. I have also held numerous part-time nanny positions throughout the city as well as been a full-time nanny for a family while living in their downstairs unit. Since moving to the Bay Area in 2019 I have had the pleasure of working with a number of different families. Some of my duties have included school and activity pick-ups/drop-offs, preparing healthy meals, bathing, running errands, cleaning, homework support, and providing a hug and comfort when needed. My favorite part about working with kids is helping them reach their potential. I am big on promoting learning at every opportunity through music, art, and exploring the world around us. Celebrating success is one of my favorite parts of my work. I love promoting and reinforcing hard work, while also being supportive during times of struggle. I specifically enjoy creating learning games to build academic skills while being engaging and exciting. I spend a significant amount of my free time learning about best practices in promoting healthy eating, emotional development, and self esteem in kids. I do not consider myself to be a pushover, but at the same time I am not harsh or mean. When I worked as an RBT, my supervisors described me as being very patient and consistent. A bit about me: I have lived in SF, Larkspur, and Petaluma, and love what both the city and Marin have to offer. On weekends I enjoy spending my time hiking all over Marin, or taking my German Shepherd to the beach to play catch with a frisbee. When I’m not outside, I enjoy learning new songs to sing to on the piano and ukulele and reading books on personal development.

Anna is an amazing sitter, I can't say enough good things about her. She was so engaging with my *very* active 6 year old. My kid really liked her and he even said she helped him navigate a social situation in the park when some kids were not being nice. Anna is warm, creative, and responsible, and one of the best caregivers I've seen.

Hi! I'm Jocelyn, a bilingual (English & Spanish) caregiver with over 5 years of hands-on babysitting experience I've worked with children from 2 months to 13 years old in a variety of settings, including in-home care, school programs, and nonprofit internship focused on food education for kids. I'm CPR and First Aid certified. I'm energetic, patient, and love connecting with each child on their level - whether that means getting down on the floor , reading the same book three times in a row, or taking stroller strolls to the park. I've cared for over 20 kiddos through Care. com and UrbanSitter and consistently nannied for families with toddlers, infants, and school-aged children. Most of the families I've worked with have had toddlers, so I'm experienced with nap time, meals, and outdoor play. I also enjoy helping older kids with homework and finding fun ways to connect. Working with children brings me joy - I love learning what makes each child unique. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have. I look forward to meeting your family and providing the best care for your children!

Jocelyn showed up on time and was super loving with my kids.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
