In college, I began working as a nanny for a few families in the San Diego area- those kids were between the ages of 2&7. In my 9 years in NYC, I also worked as a nanny for a family with children from the time their oldest was 18 months to when he was 9 years old and they moved. I was fortunate enough to be with that family through the birth of their second and third children.
