Whether we’re doing crafts, reading stories, playing outside, or just laughing and being silly together, I always try to make sure they’re having fun and feel comfortable being themselves. I am a UC Davis graduate with a degree in Human Development and a minor in Public Health. During my time at UCD, I completed a practicum at the Center for Child and Family Studies, where I worked with children from infancy through age five and learned about the different stages of child development and how to support their intellectual, emotional, and social growth. I am EMT certified thus I am CPR and BLS certified. I’m looking to fill some hours doing what I love most—spending time with and supporting children and families. I come from a large family and have always been the go-to babysitter, but I also bring a wide range of professional experience working with kids. I completed a 6-month internship at UC Davis Health, where I worked alongside a Child Life specialist and ran the Play Room for children ages 0 months to 18 years. I’ve also worked as a preschool camp instructor and am a certified Behavioral Technician, having provided support for children with autism between the ages of 3 and 5.
