Hello! I’m Kimberly, and caring for children has been a meaningful part of my life for more than 30 years. As a mother of four grown children and a proud grandmother, I bring not only extensive childcare experience, but the patience, warmth, and understanding that come from a lifetime of caring for little ones.
I have experience with children from newborns through age 13, including overnight newborn care and caring for multiple children at once. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, a non-smoker, have reliable transportation, and am very comfortable with pets.
My childcare style is loving, attentive, and hands-on. I believe children thrive with plenty of interaction and very limited screen time. Depending on their age, our days might include reading, singing, imaginative play, arts and crafts, sensory activities, outdoor adventures, walks, trips to the park, and age-appropriate activities that encourage developmental milestones. With babies, I especially enjoy tummy time, floor play, reading, singing, and helping them explore their world safely.
I believe in gentle, respectful caregiving while also providing consistency and age-appropriate boundaries. Every child deserves to feel safe, heard, encouraged, and genuinely loved while in my care. I also value open communication with parents and understand the importance of respecting each family’s routines, parenting preferences, and household.
Most importantly, I don’t see nannying as simply watching children. I want parents to leave knowing their little ones are with someone who will protect them, engage with them, encourage them, and care for them as if they were my own.
