Booked by 26 families in San Ysidro, CA

Hello, my name is Alanna. I have many hats, but being a mommy is my favorite one. I am CPR Certified for all ages from infants up, and pregnant women. I have taken a child development class, and did learn a lot of helpful information to understand my kids better and just kids in general. I have been caring for kids for over 20 years now, and have 4 kids of my own, that are 15, 11, 9, and 5. I currently work with foster youth (from ages birth until 18) as my full time job. Ive been doing it for over 3 years, and I love it! I’ve also worked with seniors in the past. So I've had a lot of experience with all ages and many different backgrounds and personalities. I am willing to do some light housework, cooking, and send text/ picture updates while you are away. Weekends and week days depending the time work best for me. I can also do drop in care at my home anytime if you’re comfortable with that. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. I look forward to meeting you and your little ones! *I’m allergic to cats, and cannot accept a job if there are cats.I apologize for any inconvenience.*

Alanna is great. She helped us out last min when a sitter bailed hours before a shift. She was great with our kids and left our place cleaner than when we left. 100 recommend! And will be using again!

Christine $25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in San Ysidro, CA

I am a caring, patient, and dependable nanny with a strong passion for working with babies and toddlers. I began caring for young children at the age of 15, primarily within my family, which gave me early hands-on experience and a strong sense of responsibility. Over the years, I have become confident in providing consistent, nurturing care during the most important early stages of development. I am comfortable with diaper changes, bottle feeding, nap schedules, tummy time, and age-appropriate play. I pay close attention to children’s cues and needs and focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment where babies and toddlers feel secure. I understand the importance of routines and always follow parents’ preferences closely. I am patient during fussy moments, gentle during transitions, and attentive at all times. I enjoy reading, singing, floor play, and helping toddlers explore their world safely. My goal is to support each child’s growth while giving parents peace of mind, knowing their child is being cared for with patience, respect, and genuine love.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
