Hi - My name is Brittany I've been a nanny for 12 years and I'm bilingual in Spanish and English. I've also been a teacher in a Montessori preschool from ages 2-6 years old. I was enrolled for two years at Santa Monica City College, and LACC took 4 child development classes and have 12 units in child development. I’ve always been drawn to working with and learning about development of children of all ages. I started by watching my 3 younger siblings and then moved on to babysitting children family friends and now I've been a nanny for many families. The Montessori preschool has allowed me to better understand children, increase my ability to engage and play with children, and manage anywhere from 1-18 children at once. I am very enthusiastic, playful, can remain calm in stressful situations, and as compassionate as can be. If it’s nice out, I love to go for walks, visit a local park, or play in your backyard! If the day requires us to stay inside I enjoy playing games of all sorts and doing arts and crafts. I also have a clean driving record and can take the child to storytimes, museums, farmers markets, or other activities as long as I'm provided with a car seat and parents are comfortable with me taking their child to places. I love to keep and open and honest communication with parents and when I'm out with their child I like to keep a group chat with parents to share pictures and videos to involve parents in what we are doing. Please let me know if you have any questions and I can’t wait to meet your family! I have great references and if needed message me and I can message you back with all the references I have, CPR certification and resume. I also have a clean background check and motor vehicle check.

Rochelle Los Angeles
$30 per hour for 1 child

Hi there, this is Rochelle! Everyday is an adventure with children. I love their curiosity, their affection, and desire to absorb learning new things and experiences! I am fantastic with children because I've been taking care of them my whole life! From helping take care of my baby sister while she grew up, to babysitting countless families in my community over the years! Additionally, I have childcare experience as a legal, professional employee in a high-end summer camp and after-school programs, where the standards of the families in that community were very high. I surpassed those standards, gaining private babysitting jobs with those families, based on the mutual adoration of their children and myself. I consider myself responsible enough to multitask but also keeping it fun for the kids, as I really do enjoy connecting with them! I consider myself to be trustworthy and reliable and am confident that past employers would agree. I always make sure to ask a new family about allergies, etc...anything important relating to their children!

I am offering child care, senior care, dog sitter, house sitter, and household services. I love being a babysitter and have been watching newborns, infants, toddlers, and kids (including twins!) since I was 20 years old. My responsibilities have included driving to/from school, crafts, tutoring, and even dance lessons. I also work as a household assistant and can cook, clean, and run errands. I have been a caretaker for my own parents and am comfortable with senior care. I can cook, drive to appointments, or do other tasks. Live and provide care for kids, adults, dogs, Work in a home-based setting, Provide care to older adults and kids I am caregiver for 2 kids ages 1 and 3 years old, 1 adult 70 years old. I am loving, fun, caring, respectful, and bilingual Spanish and English. I attend school in Loyola Marymount University.

Claudia cared for our 3-year-old son at home between preschools, and she was wonderful. She was always punctual, communicative, dependable, and took initiative without being asked. She supported our son’s potty training, helped him work through big emotions with incredible patience, and spent time reading books, playing games, and keeping him engaged. Our son was going through a challenging phase with frequent tantrums, but Claudia remained calm, kind, and consistent. Her patience and determination helped her build a wonderful relationship with him over time. She also helped with tasks like folding laundry, organizing our son’s clothes, etc. We highly recommend Claudia to any family looking for a caring, reliable, and proactive caregiver.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
