Burbank
$28 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 3 families in Los Angeles, CA

Hi, my name is Sony and I love children. I moved out to LA from NY for acting. I’m offering child care, dog care, senior care, running errands and household services. I’ve worked with kids of all ages from 1 yrs old and older. Currently babysit for a few families. I’ve helped raise all of my little cousins and nieces (twins) from birth until they were teenagers. I would feed them, play with them, drop off/pick up from school, and put them to sleep. I started doing this when I was 10 yrs old. At 13 yrs old I started babysitting the neighbors kids that were 1 and 3 yrs old. I also worked at a daycare in NY taking care of 1 to 2.5 year olds. I was a nanny for a family in Los Angeles that had 2 kids that were 4 and 7. I made them dinner, gave them baths, cleaned up after them and put them to sleep. Children naturally love me. I’m very personable, empathetic, compassionate and fun. I am comfortable with senior care and dog care. I’ve taken care of my grandparents and friends of family that were seniors. I’ve house and dog sat for friends and family as well. I can also work as a household assistant. I’m open to doing other tasks as well since I have personal assistant experience.

We love Sony! She was with our family consistently for 1.5 years, until our girls started school full time. She is timely, communicative, creative, and trustworthy. There is no one my girls like to ply with more.

Booked by 2 families in Los Angeles, CA

Hello! My name is Emily, and I am a caring, dependable, and energetic childcare professional with over 3 years of experience working with children of all ages, including infants, toddlers, and school-aged children. As a preschool teacher, I have developed strong skills in creating safe, nurturing, and engaging environments where children can learn, grow, and feel supported. I am passionate about helping children reach developmental milestones through play-based learning, creative activities, outdoor exploration, reading, and positive encouragement. My classroom experience has taught me patience, organization, communication, and the ability to manage routines while meeting each child’s individual needs. Families describe me as trustworthy, responsible, and easy to communicate with. I understand the importance of building strong relationships with both children and parents, and I strive to provide reliable care that gives families peace of mind. In addition to childcare, I am happy to assist with homework help, school pick-ups and drop-offs, meal preparation, light housekeeping related to the children, and pet care. I love creating fun, meaningful experiences that help children feel confident, happy, and cared for. I am currently seeking a position where I can become a positive, supportive part of a family’s daily life.

Emily was reliable and let me know every step taken. Was on time and oh so so sweet. My son's therapist who was there as well told me Emily was a great sitter! I'm giving her 5 HUGE stars! Thank you so much for your help. :D

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
