Hi families ! I'm Natalia, I’m from Colombia, and I wanted to introduce myself and share a bit about my experience. I have over 10 years of solid, hands on experience working with children in different environments. I spent a full year as an Au Pair in Calabasas, where I was fully responsible for the kids’ daily routines school drop-offs and pick-ups, activities, homework, meals, and overall structure at home. That role required a high level of trust, organization, and consistency, and it’s been a big part of shaping the way I work with families. Even to this day, I’m still very close with the family I lived with, which I think says a lot about the relationship we built. Before that, I worked as a gymnastics coach with kids of different ages, where I learned how to manage groups, keep kids engaged, and create a fun but structured environment. I’ve also worked in a hospital setting with children, including those with special needs, which gave me a deeper level of patience, awareness, and ability to adapt to each child’s specific needs. Alongside all of this, I’ve consistently babysat over the years, working with different families and age groups. I also volunteer constantly at church with the kids groups. I’m very confident handling routines, multiple children, and creating a safe, positive environment while still being proactive and supportive to both kids and parents. ✅CAR ✅CPR ✅ BILINGUAL (ENGLISH-SPANISH) ✅GREAT WITH DOGS / PETS ✅NON-SMOKER ✅VACCINATED ✅ SOLID REFERENCES

I needed a last-minute sitter, and Natalia provided excellent care for our 13-month-old. She took him to the park, fed him, and played with him throughout the visit.

I graduated from East LoS Angeles Community college. I received my associates in child development. I just received my bachelors at Cal State LA in Child Development. I used to be a foster mother so I know transitions can be hard for some children. I have two children of my own but they are now in elementary and I am looking to work in taking care of others peoples beautiful children in the process. I am a dog mom as well therefore I don’t mind taking walks around the block with your little one and your fur baby if that is something you’re interested in. Being outdoors and showing children, elderly and pets how beautiful the day is something I enjoy doing. I am familiar with IEP therefore if your child needs extra help by communicating with baby sign language I can help with that. The one thing I like to mention is I know my alphabet in 3 different languages and I find it a fun thing to teach children. Working on cognitive, gros motor and fine motor skills is also an important factor for me that I would love to implement with your child if you are interested. 😊

Booked by 10 families in Los Angeles, CA

Hi my name is Yulissa! I love to be a child caretaker. I’ve raised my siblings since they were little. I worked at an after school program in an elementary school and loved my job very much. I switched my major from nursing to teaching because I found that I love working with kids. I’m understanding and compassionate and very playful. I believe that children should be protected and loved. I want to be another sitter in this world parents can trust and babies can hang out with and feel safe. I truly believe that children should be educated with love, patience, and validation.

As Yulissa’s previous supervisor for an afterschool program, Yulissa demonstrates exceptional skills in managing and caring for children of various ages. She consistently showed a great deal of patience, creativity and responsibility while ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the children under her care, and she cares tremendously. Her abilities to engage children in educational and fun activities were outstanding as she create an environment where children felt happy, safe, and were eager to learn. Her strong communication skills allowed her to interact effectively with children, parents, and school staff, keeping everyone informed about the day to day wellbeing of the children. I am confident that Yulissa’s experience, dedication and genuine love for children makes her an excellent choice for any childcare position. She would be a valuable asset to any family looking for a reliable and caring sitter.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
