I am 27 , from a small town in Oregon. I have been in LA since September of last year. I am currently in school for massage therapy and chinese medicine, also getting my yoga teacher certification. I love animals, being outside, cooking, doing art, sewing, yoga, skateboarding, anything that gets my body moving or allows me to express my creativity. I am the oldest of 4 siblings so I have tons of experience with many different ages. The ages of children I’ve worked with are 5 months to 16 years. I have my postpartum doula certification as well, looking to expand my knowledge into assisting births as well :) I am also open to a personal assistant type role. I am a very kind, patient and compassionate person so your kiddos will be in the best hands! I am a kid at heart. I am someone you will be able to trust, as I am very responsible, respectful and attentive. I also have my own car and don’t mind helping out with commutes or pick ups/drop offs. I look forward to connecting :-) Ideally I am looking for something longer term part time ! I have my passport and am open to travel as well.

Sascha is a reliable, enthusiastic, caring sitter. She is attuned to my 6month olds needs, has great energy, and naturally partners with me to provide a calm, positive environment for my son. I look forward to when she is with us as I know her presence will make it a great day.

Anisa 1 review
Long Beach
$21 per hour for 1 child

Hi, my name is Anisa. I’m 19 years old and have a strong love for caring for children. I’ve been babysitting since I was 15 and have experience with newborns, infants, toddlers, and older kids. Growing up having to take care of my siblings. I’m also a caregiver and currently in school studying to become a pharmacy technician. I’m a daughter of God — patient, nurturing, and responsible. I enjoy spending time with kids and making sure they feel safe and cared for. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, and I can also help with light cleaning, meal prep, and cooking if needed. I’m currently in the process of getting my driver’s license, but able to commute. In my free time, I love going to the gym and staying active. I’m excited to help families who need someone trustworthy and kind to care for their little ones.

Anisa is our neighbor and we thought she would be great babysitter for me and my husband , she has been watching our baby since he was 1 and he is now 5 years old . We just had our baby girl last month and she has been catering and being the biggest help in the household. Greatest blessing to us and always helping she is like family to us!!

I have extensive experience in childcare, with a lifelong passion for nurturing and supporting children’s growth. As a caring and loving individual, I have had the joy and privilege of raising my two granddaughters from infancy through their early school years. Through this experience, I developed strong skills in creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and thrive. I am patient, dependable, and attentive to each child’s individual needs — whether it’s helping with homework, preparing healthy meals, organizing creative activities, or providing emotional comfort. Families can trust that their children will be cared for with kindness, respect, and genuine affection.

$20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 3 families in Los Angeles, CA

Nanny in West Los Angeles with 11 years of professional childcare experience, including live in and travel nanny positions. I have worked with children of all ages, including disabled nonverbal children and high spirited, sensitive children who need extra patience and support. As a mother to a 19 month old, I understand both the professional and personal side of caring for children. I am CPR certified and have a strong understanding of baby and toddler development. I am patient, dependable, and organized. I enjoy creating structure and routines that help children thrive, and I can help families establish routines when needed. I am familiar with age appropriate schedules, sleep foundations, and daily routines that support healthy development. Most importantly, I genuinely love working with children and helping families make their day to day lives a little easier. I can't wait to connect with your family and learn how I can help!

Asia has been wonderful with my baby girl. She is moving around with my 9 month old, letting her crawl around and explore while she is right there. She is able to get my daughter to nap, which isn’t always easy. Happy for her help.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
