Amalia Rosemead
$26 per hour for 1 child

Hi, my name is Amalia (Amy is my nickname). I have been a nanny for approximately 16 years now. I have an Associate's and Bachelor's degree is child development and a California teaching credential. Child development has been a passion of mine for some time. My kindergarten teacher inspired me to become a teacher. Her warm and nurturing demeanor was profound to me, and that inspired me to pay that experience forward. The experience that I have with children ranges from newborn to middle school children. I have monitored more than one child at a time. I have CPR and first aid training via my coursework.

$26 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 4 families in Los Angeles, CA

Hi my name is Celeste and I received my bachelors in Elementary and Special Education at Grand Canyon University. I’m fully bilingual and I’m really passionate about making an impact on children and helping them grow. I have many years of childcare experience, including four years in elementary school settings. My specialized skills are in special education, caregiving infant, toddlers, and elementary school children and specialized tutoring in Spanish, but have worked with all ages. I’m allergic to cats, but would be ecstatic to work with families with dogs and willing to cook, clean and run errands.

Celeste did a great job when I needed a last-minute sitter for my eight-year-old. I’m always very reluctant to hire last-minute sitters, but she made us feel right at ease from the beginning. She was attentive, and my son really liked her. She’s also an awesome person. My sisters and I really enjoyed talking to her while we were getting ready for our night out!

Hi Families, My name is Airicka, and I’m excited to introduce myself! I’m new to Los Angeles and looking forward to building meaningful connections within the community. My husband is currently pursuing his college basketball career, and while we’re here, I’m focused on continuing my education in real estate school and staying productive in a positive way. I genuinely enjoy being around children and creating a safe, fun, and structured environment where they feel comfortable and supported. Whether it’s helping with homework, preparing light meals, bedtime routines, or planning engaging activities, I’m attentive and patient with every child I care for. Being in school has strengthened my time management, responsibility, and organizational skills. I take pride in being dependable, communicative, and respectful of each family’s routines and parenting style. I understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your children with someone, and I strive to provide that peace of mind. I’m excited to become a trusted resource for families here in Los Angeles and would love the opportunity to connect with you! Thank you for your time and consideration. "We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
