Raquel 5 reviews
$35 per hour for 1 child

I have been working with children for 10 years, from newborns to teenagers. I have supported many families as a Newborn Care Specialist, and I currently work in an after-school daycare program with children ages 0 to 4 years, which allows me to have daytime availability for full-time nanny positions. I love dogs and am very punctual, reliable, and communicative.

Raquel took care of my daughter Alice for a little over a month, and I only have positive things to say! She is extremely responsible, caring, and has excellent communication with parents. At first, my daughter cried a lot because she struggles with being away from me, but Raquel was very patient and managed to gain both her trust and mine. She was always attentive and often did even more than what we had agreed upon when it came to Alice’s care. It was truly a wonderful experience having her with us, and I’m only sad that our schedules no longer align. I highly recommend her!

$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in Moraga, CA

I’m a caring, loving, patient, and honest person who truly enjoys helping people of all ages grow in every aspect of life emotionally, mentally, and physically. I’ve worked in daycares and also have years of experience as an independent babysitter, helping with homework, preparing lunches, dinners, and occasionally breakfast. I also assist with light housekeeping, running errands, and I’m always open and eager to learn new responsibilities to better support each family's needs. I’ve cared for seniors as well, offering companionship, preparing meals, sorting medication, and keeping their living spaces clean and comfortable. I'm outgoing and dependable, and I approach every caregiving situation with empathy and respect. I’m also great with animals. I'm a proud dog owner myself, so I understand how important pets are to a family. Being a caregiver brings me joy because it allows me to build meaningful connections while making a positive impact in others' lives. I take pride in being someone people can count on.

Paris was very sweet, she came with a few gifts for my daughter and pets. My daughter had a great time with her.

Kaia 1 review
$28 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I'm a recent UC Santa Cruz graduate with a degree in Psychology. I’ve always loved working with kids, and during college, I gained hands-on experience at a daycare where I learned how important patience, safety, and fun are when caring for children. That experience, along with my studies in child development, inspired me to start this babysitting service. I’m reliable, responsible, and genuinely enjoy helping kids learn, play, and grow. Whether you need a sitter for after school, weekends, or the occasional night out, I’m here to help. I’m also planning to go into healthcare, so caring for others is a big part of who I am. My goal is to create a safe, happy environment for your child—and peace of mind for you.

Kaia has always been great with kids. She has babysat for cousins, and through her school, kids ranging from 2-14 while she was in high school. In college, she worked in the childcare at her local gym as she worked towards her psych and human development degree. She is reliable, on time, uses common sense and critical thinking, and builds rapports with kids easily.

Isabela 1 review
$35 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Moraga, CA

Hello! My name is Bela, and I am a new college graduate, home for the summer looking for occasional babysitting/nannying &/or pet sitting opportunities! Whether it be watching your kiddos while you’re out for a date night, or keeping them busy during the day crafting, spending time outdoors, making them meals, or picking them up/dropping them off at Summer camps and daytime activities I’m open for it all! As I heads up, I have some days this summer where I will be out of town as I am moving out of state in the beginning of September! I have many years of experience babysitting and pet sitting and can provide references and a background check upon request. And as an avid animal lover (with 5 pets of my own and graduated with an Animal Science degree), I have also worked as a Veterinary Assistant for many years, so I also have a background caring for pets if they have any additional care requirements. Additionally, I am fluent in Bulgarian, and beginner-intermediate in American Sign Language. I love engaging with children in arts and crafts projects to keep them entertained with educational and fun activities that promote creativity, and spending time outdoors! In addition, I am also capable of preparing meals if necessary. My goal is to create a fun, and positive atmosphere where kids can have fun and feel as engaged as possible! Above all I prioritize the safety and well being of the children and animals that I care for. I look forward to the potential opportunity to meet your family! References can be provided upon request! 😊

Isabela is incredible with young children. She is highly educated and ambitious with great intuition and EQ. I would highly highly recommend Isabela 🙏

Zaineb 1 review
$20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Moraga, CA

Hello! I am Zaineb and currently a school based social worker. I am offering child care, pet care as well as household services. Ever since I was young, I have loved caring for children whether it was a sibling, older cousin or friend. I have been an educator in the public school system for the last 6 years working with kids from as little as kindergarten to seniors in high school. I enjoy playing games, doing crafts and most importantly, getting to know kids and their interests and hobbies. As a babysitter in the past, I have been responsible for after-school care, cooking meals and putting kids to bed. I am also happy to help out with household tasks like cooking, cleaning and running errands. I can also pet sit; I grew up caring for my family’s cat and currently live with 2 cats. I don’t have a lot of experience caring for other animals but am willing to learn!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
