Hi! I’m Zeynep and I provide childcare, pet care, and elder care services. I have a bachelor’s degree in Child Development and about 7 years of experience working with children. I have worked in kindergartens, schools, hospitals, orphanages, and special education centers through internships. For the last 1.5 years, I have been taking care of children in the United States. I mostly work with children who are 2 years old and older. My duties have included driving children to school, classes, or appointments, preparing healthy meals and snacks, organizing play and storage areas, making arts and crafts, helping with homework, and doing light cleaning related to children. I have been working with kids for about 6 years now, not including my volunteer work for OUSD. I am 25 years old, born and raised here in Oakland. I love working with children and what I have learned working with youth is the impact one can have on them. I have learned that children need a patient and understanding adult so they can succeed and thrive. Also, I get to learn a lot from kids! Every child is different and I love to learn from them. Outside of work, I like to spend the evenings with my dog and take him to the park or on walks.
