Hello, I graduated from California State University of Los Angeles with a bachelors in Criminal Justice. I am offering child care, animal care, and household services. I been a babysitter since I was 14 years old and recently had the opportunity to move on from childcare of two children that I been with for years! While that move was sad, I was glad I had the opportunity to watch them grow! My childcare services include, infant, toddlers, and kids. However, I worked more with infants and toddlers! My duties included cooking, cleaning, creation of crafts/games, driving to/from school, parks, and groceries stores. My hobbies are painting, working out, and cooking! Growing up, I always knew I wanted to work with children. I played volleyball for seven years and loved coaching younger players to help build their confidence. In high school, I tutored and assisted grades 2nd-5 through a program called Urban Compass. During COVID, I lived with my sister and helped care for her three children, supporting their daily routines and education. I’m now studying culinary arts in Los Angeles and worked with a wonderful family caring for two kids (ages 5 and 6). I handle school pick-ups, drop-offs in the parents’ car, and guide them through their evening routine. I also help with light cleaning, cooking meals, and baking sweet treats the kids love! I have two cuddly cats at home, so I’m very comfortable with pets too.

Hi, I’m Mia. I’m currently a student at PCC and in the Child Development Program. I'm completing my field practice hours at the PCC child development center.
