Hello everyone, my name is Natalie! Originally from Southern California, I moved to San Francisco three years ago. I have been working with children in a professional setting for 4 years. I have taught children in a preschool setting, ages 2 to 6. Supporting them with schoolwork, Spanish lessons, motor skills, nap time, and potty training. Before joining the preschool, I worked as a social-emotional coach at a public elementary school in Chino Hills, where I supported first-grade students. Hello! I'm a recent UCSB graduate and new SF resident! I studied Environmental Studies and Art History and have had a diverse range of jobs from waitressing to wetland field research. I am currently pursuing an online program in GIS & Geospatial Technology through UCLA. I’ve worked with kids through multiple channels such as being a teaching assistant to a planter-box construction class at a middle school, working as a camp counselor, in afterschool art programs, hosting kids gardening events, and babysitting. I’m most familiar working with the 3-12yr range. I love exploring and sharing my love of the environment and natural sciences with others.
