Hello everyone, my name is Natalie! Originally from Southern California, I moved to San Francisco three years ago. I have been working with children in a professional setting for 4 years. I have taught children in a preschool setting, ages 2 to 6. Supporting them with schoolwork, Spanish lessons, motor skills, nap time, and potty training. Before joining the preschool, I worked as a social-emotional coach at a public elementary school in Chino Hills, where I supported first-grade students. Some of my hobbies include going on walks around Golden Gate Park and exploring the city — I'm always down for a fun adventure, whether it's discovering a new café or a new trail to hike. I also love watching movies. Having grown up with younger cousins, I appreciate animated films just as much as any other genre — which comes in handy, since the kids at my school are always talking about PJ Masks, Paw Patrol, Peppa Pig, and Bluey. Another hobby of mine is coloring and drawing. Last year, I had a student who would ask me to draw things for her so she could practice cutting them out afterward. Lastly, I love baking, my currently favorite baked/ fried item are churros! I like making them into cute little shapes like hearts and bears(:
