I’m a good listener and I’m patient, I try to understand how the kids are feeling, dealing with big emotions I have master degree from Poland - Master of Arts, currently studying in BCC Digital Imaging and going to apply for internship after end of Spring semester June 2025 - I’d like to babysit till then I’m fully vaccinated for covid 19 and have all regular vaccines. I have a lot of childcare experience (more than 7 years full time, plus part time). I’ve read some child development articles or books as needed, I love Montessori philosophy. Some examples of experience: Babies: I used to read, go outside for walks, teaching to walk and speak first words, singing songs, dancing to the music, playing with toys, feeding and bathing, bedtime routine. Toddlers: I was full time babysitter for two sets of sibling 2 and 5 y.o., twins 3.5 y.o., currently the baby I took care of is a toddler as well 😀 (2 years old) 2[removed] I was au pair in USA for two years. I have had amazing time taking care of kids age 2-10 years old, also babies as babysitter back in Poland. I have experience of taking care of 3 kids at the time. I’m reliable and make sure everyone is safe. I have 5,5 years of full time experience with babies and toddlers, and couple more years before that I was babysitting part time as well or supervising art classes in Poland as an Art High School student. I was responsible for getting the kids ready to school, feeding, driving to activities, playing educational games, arts and crafts, giving them a bath, cooking for them, doing their laundry and housework related to them. I had a great bond with all kids. I have master degree in arts and I’m happy to do art activities with children. I’m also active and love hiking, I often play with kids outside, in the park. As an au pair I had my background checked and was trained for cpr and first aid. Received professional one week training of child development and cpr in New York before starting. Pets: Iva had dogs and cats, most of experience with breeds like Saint Bernards, GSD, Golden Retriever, Shih tzu and more. Hello! I was born and raised in Austria and came to the US as an Au-pair 20 years ago, so I also speak fluent German. It's simple really, I love children and they love me. As an Aries I am an eternal child and relate to children very easily. I enjoy reading with them, doing arts and crafts, building forts and being outside. I also like to include them into chores in a playful way to keep them humble and make them feel accomplished. Communication is the biggest key for me and I love listening to my lil client's stories all day! In a nutshell I am fun, responsible, reliable and have a lot of energy. My philosophy is that your child is as much of a client as you are, I customize my care to the needs of the client. Please note I am available to work holidays but charge time and a half for those days. New Years Eve is double. Policies: I have a 4 hour minimum booking policy. CANCELLATIONS: For cancellations with less than 24 hours notice, I expect 50% of the original booking amount, which can be paid via PayPal or Venmo. EARLY RETURNS: Because I plan my time and budget around the hours booked, I ask to be paid for the entire booking, even if you come home early. LATE RETURNS: I'm usually flexible on the end time of a booking, but please text/call me if you'll be late, especially if we have not discussed flexibility beforehand. I occasionally book jobs back to back with just enough time for travel in between, and your late return can have an unfortunate impact on my schedule. For nanny shares I charge $20 per child.
