Kaia 1 review
Berkeley
$28 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I'm a recent UC Santa Cruz graduate with a degree in Psychology. I’ve always loved working with kids, and during college, I gained hands-on experience at a daycare where I learned how important patience, safety, and fun are when caring for children. That experience, along with my studies in child development, inspired me to start this babysitting service. I’m reliable, responsible, and genuinely enjoy helping kids learn, play, and grow. Whether you need a sitter for after school, weekends, or the occasional night out, I’m here to help. I’m also planning to go into healthcare, so caring for others is a big part of who I am. My goal is to create a safe, happy environment for your child—and peace of mind for you.

Kaia has always been great with kids. She has babysat for cousins, and through her school, kids ranging from 2-14 while she was in high school. In college, she worked in the childcare at her local gym as she worked towards her psych and human development degree. She is reliable, on time, uses common sense and critical thinking, and builds rapports with kids easily.

Brenda 1 review
Oakland
$32 per hour for 1 child

I love my job apasiónate for children’s 20 years of experience age 0-10 years, I register to thrust line , COR and FIRST AID certification, clean driving records, .etc

Brenda has been our beloved nanny for the last 18 months, helping raise our daughter from 6 months until she turned two. There are many choices out there for caregivers, but after interviewing and meeting several, Brenda stood out to our family most notably for her warmth and loving personality. It was immediately clear to us that she would deeply love and care for our daughter. I also never had any doubt that my daughter was safe, learning and having fun. She helped my daughter through all of the milestones. Brenda is punctual and reliable and naturally good with young children. Our daughter is starting preschool and we are sad to end this chapter but intend to maintain our relationship for babysitting engagements in the future and would just say any family is lucky to have her.

Nafula 1 review
Oakland
$38 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 3 families in San Francisco, CA

Hi families! My name is Nafula, a mom of two (ages 10 and 7) with extensive childcare experience caring for children from newborn stage through age 18. Over the past two years, I’ve supported many families across the U.S., providing both daytime and overnight care, including newborn routines, feeding, bathing, sleep support, and age-appropriate developmental activities- I’ve worked under care.com I’m calm, patient, and highly reliable, with a strong focus on creating safe, nurturing, and structured environments where children can thrive. I also enjoy supporting parents—especially with newborns—by sharing practical guidance on routines, soothing techniques, and overall care. Families I work with appreciate my attention to detail, trustworthiness, and ability to adapt to each child’s unique needs. I look forward to connecting with your family! 💛

Truly awesome!! Macula was incredibly helpful with both the baby and all the household items. She helped to reorganize the baby clothes perfectly and applied great judgment. My toddler also warned to her very quickly. 10/10 recommend

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
