I grew up in Nebraska with my mother having an in-home daycare and helped out with it after school and during the summer(from age 10 or 11 till 19 when I moved to California) I nannied a few summers and worked for a group home for mentally disabled teens and adults. Once I moved to California I worked at the daycare in 24 hour fitness. I then nannied for a child from 14months till about 2 and a half. He sadly (for me) went to Montessori School full time. I then jumped back into working with adults with disabilities. Then I worked with a kid with disabilities for a few years and moved onto a school. Which I currently do now I work in a sped classroom in an elementary school.

I’ve been watching infants, toddlers and kids since I was 14 years old, I am Mexican, I am an only child but I have a big family and I would be in charge of taking care of my little cousins and learned as I got older and then i would take care of my nephews and nieces, my responsibilities were at the time making sure they ate and did their homework, while their parents did their work and their children didn’t interrupt them.
