$30 per hour for 1 child

Hi Families! I’m a caring, dependable, and experienced caregiver with 20+ years of childcare experience. In addition to working with children over the years, I’m also a mother and grandmother, which has given me a strong understanding of children’s needs, routines, and the importance of creating a safe, loving environment. I’m patient, responsible, and genuinely enjoy caring for children of all ages. I can help with daily routines such as meals and snacks, playtime, supervision, and creating a calm, comfortable space for kids to feel happy and cared for. I also have a clean driving record, which makes me a reliable option for families who may need transportation help. I am a native Spanish speaker and also speak conversational English, so I’m happy to support bilingual families as well. Families can count on me to be trustworthy, attentive, clean, and nurturing, and I always strive to provide dependable care that gives parents peace of mind.

South San Francisco
$35 per hour for 1 child

I am looking for a child care / household service job during the weekdays afternoons and weekends. I have Associate Education in Hospitality management and B.S degree in Accounting. I have experiences work for 2-3 families as a mother’s helper. I live in SSF with my husband and daughter. I’m a non-smoker, non- alcoholic person. I used to be a full time mom. I took care of my daughter since she was born until she went to 2nd grade. Through the time with my daughter, I learned how to raise a happy, loving, curious, positive, kind, and confident child. I think build a strong growth mindset at early age is very important. Building a good foundation of reading and math skills will help kids to learn better and achieve academic success in the future. I volunteered at a nursery school when my daughter attended that school. I enjoyed the time with children. I prepared meals/ snacks for them, I watched them to play in the playground, feed the rabbits / chickens. I helped them to do crafts, drawing, story time, and play game. It was a great experience for me. The earlier child development is very important as 99% of brain developed before they turning 5 years old. Good eating habits, sleeping routine, quality activities, and reading are very important for children. I love kids. I like to read books to kids, bring kids outside to play, take kids to the park, museums,or library. In my spare time, I like sleeping, hiking, reading, coloring, planting, cuddling my cats. I speak English, Chinese Mandarin, and I understand Cantonese.

Yensy 1 review
South San Francisco
$35 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in San Francisco, CA

Devoted and reliable nanny with 15 years experience in child care. I provide positive, loving care while making sure to meet the families educational and disciplinary goals for each child. I am skilled in creating and maintaining schedules, finding solutions to behavior challenges as they arise using positive reinforcement. I sincerely adore working with children from newborn, infants, to pre-school aged children and I am passionate about childcare and encouraging and child's exploration and development.

Yensy was our nanny for nearly 2 years. We selected her for her warm, loving and clam nature. She is very reliable and comes on time. She handled several tasks including preparing bottles and meals, outdoor activities, keeping feeding logs, buying groceries, and driving her to baby-toddler classes. She was a joy to have as part of our family. We highly recommend her.

Serena Oakland
$35 per hour for 1 child

Hey! My name is Serena, with 2 years of professional nanny experience and 8 years of being the family nanny. I have experience with kiddos aged from 3 months to 14 years old. I've had experience with being the family babysitter since i was 15 years old. I offer childcare services, cooking for the kiddo(s), bath time, tidying up areas the kiddo and I use, and light laundry if need be. Some activities I typically do range from arts and craft activities, making baked goods/smoothies, reading books, outside play to tire them out, and board games. For younger kids I typically do more age appropriate activities, like sensory box play, tummy time, flash cards of numbers and letters. Additionally, I have experience driving kids around in former parents cars. I have reliable transportation so a commute won't be an issue. Maura 2 reviews
Oakland
$28 per hour for 1 child

Hello, I'm Maura. I'm 32 years old, I live in Oakland CA. I'm a very responsible, honest, kind and very patient person. I'm very dedicated to my work. I'm very flexible. I have experience taking care of children and babies. I'm certified in CPR. I speak Spanish and a little English. I really love taking care of children very well. I care about their well-being. I have my own vehicle and I have a valid California driver's license. I really enjoy going out outdoors with the children. Make their days dynamic and happy. I give a very safe environment to children. I like to play and make dynamics according to their ages. I really care that the children's days are very nutritious and positive. I like to work with families and adapt to their needs. I am very flexible to their opinions. I like to help families with their routines such as light cleaning, tidying

Maura has managed to care for our 1 and 3 year old at the same time without issue. She integrated into our family smoothly and quickly which was very helpful as these transitions can take time for some. She is very intelligent, I was impressed how she caught on quickly to our Elimination Communication (EC) routine with our youngest and helped keep all of that progressing. Maura would take them to the park each day for 2-3 hours so they had a lot of time outdoors which we love, plus she has a lot of energy to keep up with them! She is very capable of all the usual expectations like food prep, cleaning, pottying and nap times. Very respectful of our family values and requests (no screen time, etc.). Most importantly to us was the extremely warm and tender way that she cared for our children, we will never forget that. The children adore her. Our family in no longer in need of routine childcare but we hope to stay in touch with her, as we have all enjoyed the relationships that were established. Maura is truly a gem, and during a time where it’s incredibly difficult to find quality caregivers we feel so lucky to have found Maura.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
