Paul 2 reviews
San Francisco
$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in San Francisco, CA

Hi! My name is Paul, I'm 25 and just recently moved to San Francisco from Vermont. I have many years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to elementary aged kids (primarily toddler aged), I bring a patient, friendly, and flexible approach to childcare. I have a college degree in environmental studies, but have worked in early childhood education for the past 3 years. I also have worked as a summer camp counselor and have experience with babysitting. Throughout my time as a teacher I have learned a lot about caring for children, and have taken early childhood education classes to further my knowledge on the subject. When participating in childcare I enjoy playing sports, exploring the natural world, and promoting curiosity within children. I'm a firm believer in making learning fun, and helping guide children through their interests. I'm comfortable with caring for up to four children and hope to create a space for learning, exploration and open communication.

Paul was super sweet with our four-year-old son! Very kind, flexible, and good communicator.

Jaime 2 reviews
San Francisco
$28 per hour for 1 child

Hi my name is Jaime. I’m currently a paraeducator at a high school school in the San Francisco Unified School District. I am offering child services. I love working with kids and I have experience with kids with disabilities for 3 years. I have a decade of experience working with infants and toddlers. I feel comfortable working with pets, I have a cat myself. I can help out around the household. I’m detail oriented, patient and caring.

Jaime is amazing! We have a 3 year old and a 5 year old and they both love him and he’s so great with them. We work weird hours some days so it’s hard to find someone that’s reliable, but he’s perfect! He’s on top of their napping/sleep schedule, their eating schedule, he makes sure they brush their teeth and go potty before bed, the list goes on. They’re so energetic and he so patient with them and knows how to keep them entertained! The kids always look forward to him babysitting. We have nothing but great things to say about him!

I enjoy planning educational activities, playing outdoors, and encouraging the development of motor and cognitive skills. I’m strong driver, I never been an a car accident and I have my California DL. Maria 2 reviews
San Francisco
$35 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in San Francisco, CA

Hi, my name is Maria Lopez. I’m 27 years old and I have several years of experience caring for children and assisting older adults. I’m a responsible, patient, and trustworthy person who truly enjoys helping others and creating a safe, warm environment. I recently obtained my nursing license and I’m currently in the process of transferring it to the state of California. During this time, I’m looking for a flexible nanny or caregiver position that allows me to continue with my student schedule, while supporting a family with dedication, respect, and professionalism. I would love the opportunity to become a reliable and caring part of your household.

Maria came as a last-minute substitute for our sitter share and knocked it out of the park. The timing wasn’t perfect for her schedule but she still offered to come and cover for our sitter, which meant a lot to me to not have to call out of work. She got a lot of info thrown at her right when she arrived and I had to run straight to meetings, and she just ran with all of it — followed their schedule, consistently led toilet learning, kept both kids happy with playtime options, and at pickup both were happy toddlers. Would definitely re-book, would love to have her over again!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
