Hello! My name is Johanna, and I am currently between jobs, figuring out the next phase of my career. I am originally from Vermont and moved to San Francisco about 2 years ago. I went to college and lived in NYC for 15 years and never thought I would leave, but here I am! Since I'm a country girl at heart, I feel like I get the best of both worlds living in San Francisco; between the city life and endless natural wonders, it's truly a majestic place where I spend a lot of my time hiking and exploring. I spent a lot of time babysitting while I was in high school and college. My mom gave birth to my youngest sibling when I was in high school (a 17-year age gap), so I spent significant time caring for him as an infant. I also have two nieces and one nephew whom I absolutely adore. I love kids and working with people in general, and I am very good at it. I worked in sales for 8 years in the beauty industry for The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC), so I truly enjoy connecting with others. I consider myself an empathic, nurturing, and bubbly individual who loves helping others. I also love animals. I am more of a dog person, but I adore all creatures. I used to do a bit of dog sitting in high school and currently dog-sit for a family friend. I am open to watching children, seniors, and pets, as well as helping with household services.

Hello! I'm a recent UCSB graduate and new SF resident! I studied Environmental Studies and Art History and have had a diverse range of jobs from waitressing to wetland field research. I am currently pursuing an online program in GIS & Geospatial Technology through UCLA. I’ve worked with kids through multiple channels such as being a teaching assistant to a planter-box construction class at a middle school, working as a camp counselor, in afterschool art programs, hosting kids gardening events, and babysitting. I’m most familiar working with the 3-12yr range. I love exploring and sharing my love of the environment and natural sciences with others. I am equally as passionate about art, and try to make art with everything I do. I’d love to share my interests in the outdoors and in art with your kids! I’m a responsible, experienced, oldest daughter with 5 younger siblings with a large age gap. I spent the majority of my teen years babysitting and watching my siblings. I also have had two full time nanny jobs for children ranging from 4-13. I have experience with children with autism, food intolerances, and medical conditions. I’ve done part time babysitting and nannying jobs here in San Francisco for the last 3 years now as well. Overall I’m someone who loves children and has plenty of experience both professionally and personally. I also am very self sufficient and well versed in running errands and driving around the city.
