Zargoona 1 review
$20 per hour for 1 child

Hello! Here are some things about me: I am a mother of 3 children. I have worked in schools and in daycare centers. I have a certificate of Childcare from Chabot College. CPR certified. I have started a home childcare business 3 years ago. My total work experience with children is 25 years.

Zargoona was a fantastic nanny for my son. She watched him for about 2.5 years (from 6 months old to 3 years old). She raised 3 smart and successful children, and I knew my son was in great hands. Zargoona was very timely, responsive, communicative, flexible, caring and gentle with my son, and respectful of me and my home. She spent about 8 hours a day with my son while I worked and always kept him entertained by playing, singing, reading, doing arts and crafts, going outside. Zargoona was extremely helpful and hands on with potty training my son (as a requirement for him to enter preschool). Zargoona became a part of our family, and we still keep in touch. I am forever grateful for the time and care Zargoona provided for our family and would not hesitate to hire Zargoona again.

Danielle $28 per hour for 1 child

Hi my name is Danielle when I was in high school I would volunteer at daycare/preschool and I would be in 6 month- 2-year-old classes. Which would typically involve managing their high energy levels, supporting their developmental milestones, and providing a safe and stimulating environment while understanding their unique communication methods. I also was a nanny for 1-year-old triples two years ago for more than a year but unfortunately I had to leave them when I started college. Working with infants and toddlers at a young age helped me go into college wanting to purse a path of Child Adolescence as my major.

I love babysitting because it allows me to build meaningful connections with children and be a positive part of their lives. With five years of experience, I have developed strong skills in caring for kids of different ages and understanding their unique personalities and needs. Being CPR certified gives me confidence in handling emergencies and ensuring a safe environment at all times. I truly enjoy engaging with children through creative play, helping with homework, and encouraging their curiosity and growth. One of the most rewarding parts of babysitting is watching the children I care for learn, develop new skills, and grow over time. I also believe that clear communication with parents is extremely important, as it helps build trust and ensures everyone is on the same page about the child’s needs and routines. Babysitting is more than just a job to me—it’s something I genuinely enjoy and feel passionate about every day.

$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 3 families in San Lorenzo, CA

Hi! I’m a paraprofessional at Stonebrae elementary school and a nursing student with a strong passion for working with children. I support students with learning and behavior both in and out of the classroom, and I also have experience as an RBT providing in-home behavioral support. This has given me the skills to work with children of different needs, personalities, and routines. I’ve been caring for kids since I was 9 years old, starting with my niece and continuing with children in my family and neighborhood. I also have 5 years of paid experience as a nanny outside of this app, and I truly enjoy building meaningful, trusting relationships with the families I work with. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, patient, reliable, and comfortable in fast-paced environments. I love creating a safe, fun, and nurturing space where kids can learn, grow, and be themselves. Working with children is something that genuinely makes me happy, and I’d love the opportunity to support your family!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
