Carolina 1 review
$30 per hour for 1 child

I have been working as a nanny since 2019. Between 2019 and 2023, I worked full-time with different families and built great relationships with all of them, and I’d be happy to provide references. I am an organized, playful, and responsible person. At the moment, I am looking for something temporary. Mostly date nights or one-day services. I drive and can meet at parks, playgrounds, or even places like Sky Zone. I can also plan a super fun day with your children to keep them entertained and happy.

Carolina was our au pair and lived with us while caring for my two boys. She is responsible, loving, and reliable, always creating a safe and nurturing environment for my children. She quickly became part of our family, showing patience, creativity, and initiative in keeping the boys engaged and cared for. I highly recommend her to any family looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and dependable.

Araceli 1 review
$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in San Lorenzo, CA

Hello my name is Araceli. I am a dedicated and experienced childcare provider with over a decade of hands-on experience caring for children of all ages — from infants to middle schoolers. As a mother of three, I bring both professional expertise and genuine love for nurturing young minds. For six years, I cared for two wonderful children full-time, supporting their development from early childhood into their preteen years. I currently work at a school in Oakland in an after-school program, where I’ve spent the past three years caring for students from TK through 8th grade. Families describe me as reliable, responsible, and nurturing, with a calm and caring presence. I take pride in creating safe, positive, and engaging environments that help children learn and thrive. I am also fluent in Spanish, which allows me to comfortably communicate with bilingual families and support early language development. I am very flexible with scheduling, have excellent references, and am always willing to adapt to a family’s unique needs. Above all, I’m excited to meet a new family and build a lasting, trusting relationship where your children feel cared for, respected, and happy every day.

Araceli has done an amazing job of taking care of my two little ones (5&7) this summer. She went above and beyond when taking care of them. She played with them, prepped lunches, took them to activities daily and even taught them some Spanish along the way. She was very reliable and more than able to do a great job with the kids while doing some tasks around the house. I do not trust just anyone with my kids and I can honestly say I would and will continue to have her watch my children when the next time calls for it.

Zargoona 1 review
$20 per hour for 1 child

Hello! Here are some things about me: I am a mother of 3 children. I have worked in schools and in daycare centers. I have a certificate of Childcare from Chabot College. CPR certified. I have started a home childcare business 3 years ago. My total work experience with children is 25 years.

Zargoona was a fantastic nanny for my son. She watched him for about 2.5 years (from 6 months old to 3 years old). She raised 3 smart and successful children, and I knew my son was in great hands. Zargoona was very timely, responsive, communicative, flexible, caring and gentle with my son, and respectful of me and my home. She spent about 8 hours a day with my son while I worked and always kept him entertained by playing, singing, reading, doing arts and crafts, going outside. Zargoona was extremely helpful and hands on with potty training my son (as a requirement for him to enter preschool). Zargoona became a part of our family, and we still keep in touch. I am forever grateful for the time and care Zargoona provided for our family and would not hesitate to hire Zargoona again.

I am a caring, responsible, and trustworthy person with a lifelong passion for caring for children. Childcare has been a natural part of my life, not just a job. From the age of 10 to 17, I helped care for my younger siblings, taking responsibility for daily routines such as preparing meals, helping with homework, maintaining the home, and providing supervision and emotional support. This experience taught me patience, organization, and strong caregiving skills from a very young age. I also cared for a baby under one year old for three months while traveling between Costa Rica and Panama with an American family. The parents trusted me enough to travel with them and fully care for their baby. I can provide a reference letter if needed. My responsibilities included feeding, bathing, putting the baby to sleep, following daily routines, and giving full attention to the baby’s well-being. While the baby rested, I assisted with light household tasks such as cooking and keeping the kitchen clean. I am patient, attentive, calm, and dependable. I truly enjoy creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel cared for and secure. Also I am a loving, responsible, and attentive pet caregiver, and animals have been a vital part of my life since childhood. I have had pets my entire life and care for them as an essential part of my family, not just as animals. I have extensive experience caring for pets at home, including feeding, walking, cleaning, providing companionship, and ensuring their comfort and emotional well-being. I am attentive to their routines, personalities, and special needs, and I understand how important pets are to their owners. I am patient, gentle, and reliable, and I always make sure pets feel safe, loved, and relaxed while under my care. I treat every pet with the same love, respect, and dedication I give to my own. Your pets will be cared for with attention, affection, and responsibility at all times.

We feel so lucky to have Yvonne as our nanny. She started with us in December 2025, caring for our 2-month-old and 5-year-old, and has been incredible from day one. She is extremely reliable, always punctual, and communicates clearly. She has even stepped in to help us during last-minute childcare gaps. We can truly count on her. Yvonne is wonderful with children—she engages them with play, music, and reading, and brings such positive energy. Our kids love her and feel happy and safe with her. She is also warm, supportive, and is part of our family. She has gone above and beyond, even helping with meals. Most importantly, we trust her completely. Any family would be lucky to have her.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
