Monique $30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in San Marino, CA

Hello, my name is Monique I have 18 years of experience working with children, including jobs at babysitting, being a nanny and work with autism children. I've been babysitting regularly for the last 18 years. My experience, combined with my CPR and first aid certification. And also have a 22 & 21 year old young adults and 13 month old baby. So I have personal experience with my own children. My most recent Babysitter position was with a family of five whose children ranged from ages 2 to 12. I'm sure you can imagine the constant commotion involved in caring for five children, but it's the kind of challenge I find fun and exciting. Three days a week, I helped the older kids get ready for school and then stayed with the younger children until their parents got home from work. During the day, the younger children and I would play games, do arts and crafts, enjoy educational activities and have a home-cooked lunch. I was also available to care for the older children when they stayed home sick from school or to babysit nights and weekends when the parents wanted a date night. My clients have often expressed appreciation for my adaptability, enthusiasm and ability to handle any type of situation. Since my most recent clients moved out of state for a job promotion, I currently have a very flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. I can usually start as early as 7 a.m. and can stay until at least 11 p.m. I can even stay even longer. I appreciate you taking the time to read my letter and consider my application. Please feel free to contact me by phone or email if you have questions about my qualifications. I would love the opportunity to work with your family and get to know your children.

Isabella $19 per hour for 1 child

Hello! My name is Isabella and I am a 18 year old part time college student at cal poly Pomona. I have 6 younger siblings so i definitely know how kids can be and I do have babysitting experience. I have 5 dogs who are my absolute joy. I am the child of a single father so I am responsible for cooking and cleaning meaning I do also have experience in those departments (I absolutely love cooking!). I have a lot of patience due to having many siblings , I’m always kind, I always have an upbeat attitude and even when something is wrong I always see the bright side in things, I do have work experience in Amazon which requires me to work at a fast pace in case I’m needed to. I hope you consider me because I do love taking care of children, pets, etc. I do hope to gain a career in the future that has something to do with being there for children so I really want to expand my resume :)

I dont have children of my own[ can't ): ] But i love children. I am a wonderful loving aunt to 9 kids from one sibling and i adore them and they me. We have many outings where i am the only adult and we are always happy, fed, and safe.never a boring moment. I am always full of energy. I like to play outside and indoors. I like to read, help kids learn in fun ways. Play and teach games like eye spy and go fish.Like to draw from imagination. Make cleaning up fun. Give rewards for small acts that deserve it. Explain when things are dangerous and why they are dangerous. Im more of an outside, run and jump type of babysitter. I can watch TV and movies but only if we are already done playing for the day.i can cook for picky eaters, all my nieces/nephews eat different things so making different meals is fine for me. I work nights and my days off are friday and saturday, but i visit my family Saturdays but have hours still available. If it is urgent and you ask ahead of time i can most likely arrange my visits to help you out. I think im fun, my nieces and nephews think so too. Give me a chance and I can help you take care of your little ones,or big ones. I can also house sit if needed. Tambien hablo en español si quiere saberlo. Easier for me to respond to texts but calls are ok too. Thanks for your time.i hope to help you soon.Gracias por su tiempo, estoy para servir. Have a great day.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
