Kimberly $22 per hour for 1 child

Hello! My name is Kimberly, and I am currently an undergraduate college student with experience working with elementary-aged children. In high school, I helped teach sports during elementary school grade students’ recreational periods, where I learned how to keep kids engaged, active, and safe. I have had my driver’s license for over 2 years and would be available to run errands or do school pick up/drop offs at extracurriculars or to your home. I have experience in pet care, as I have a dog of my own and foster kittens in my free time. I have also grown up caring for family friends’ children through regular babysitting and encouragement off their screens. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and I pride myself on being patient, empathetic, and communicative. As a bonus, I also love baking and would feel comfortable helping prepare meals or snacks! Feel free to reach out — I would love to help your family!

Hi Parents! Its a pleasure to meet you. You will find I have a large gap in my reviews because I have been working with a family long term the past 2 years and have been mainly hired by repeat families (Would be happy to offer that reference.) I am now available for new families! I'm a writer-actress recently moved to LA from NYC! (Hence the mainly NYC reviews) I received my BS in Advertising and Marketing Communications from FIT, minoring in English. In my spare time I enjoy writing poetry, reading, films, playing volleyball, working out and just being active. I'm a lover of nature as well as a lover of laughter :) I grew up taking care of kids/ being around kids all the time because of my very fertile family haha . I knew how to change a diaper since I was about 10 years old and as I got older I was one of the go to for watching my little cousins who ranged from newborns to 12 years. I have experience with all ages and get along great with kids. I'm patient, understanding and educated. I have done pick ups after school, traveled home to work on homework, prepared a snack/cook dinner and fun time if there was time left after. I have experience with overnight/vacation sitting where I was the main caretaker and very comfortable with it. I've taken children to parks, museums and played with them. I know how to change diapers, do bath time, put to sleep and keep everyone happy :) I also do light cleaning if necessary and I am red cross cpr certified and have first aid training. Cancellation policy- same day/ last minute cancellation requires the full booking amount to be paid. I tend to have a lot of inquiries and and when you book in advance I am fully committed to you. I turn down any other offers that i receive! I understand things come up however, this is my main source of income and i take it very seriously! The time i scheduled for you is very important to me as it should be for you :) **For bookings ending at or beyond 9pm travel home would be required!

Kimberley is fantastic, she was able to help us last minute whilst we are visiting LA, and our daughter quickly felt comfortable with her. Would definitely recommend her to other parents.

In Elementary school they would allow the 4th-5th graders to spend their time off with another teacher as their assistant and that’s when I realized I loved spending time with younger kids. During that time I’d also volunteer as a sitter/helper at my local youth center after school or when needed. As I got older I was able to watch all ages either at the school, youth center, relatives and/or family friends. I have over 18 years of experience as a nanny, sitter, elderly caregiver, personal assistant, and house manager. My main goals are to make sure everyone is comfortable, safe, having fun, & parents can just enjoy themselves without worrying. -PLEASE MSG ME BEFORE BOOKING JOB- ✔️I'm looking for a family that is honest, has family values, and is financially stable. • A year of commitment. • A minimum of 25 guarantee weekly hours.   • As of right now I’m not caring for children under one years old. ✔️ • I’d be happy to assist in preparing/assembling meals for kids &/or family, baking, cleaning up (laundry, organizing, tiding up kitchen, rooms, toys), grocery shopping, driving children, and I’m pet-friendly. (I’m not a housekeeper but will keep household clean) • I have a Kia Sportage, driving record is clean no tickets or accidents. • Vaccines: Tdap 09/29/2024; Flu 03/13/2026; Covid 03/13/2026. • I don't partake in any kind of substances. • Depending on ages of children I’m comfortable with watching four-five children. •• Since December 2023, Ive been providing daily morning care to a sweet elderly woman w/dementia in Glendale. Schedule is flexible and would love to continue•• ~From past poor experiences I feel it’s best to make a contract so both parties have an understanding of what is to be expected as nanny and parent, it will entail compensation, schedule/hours, payment method, & duties/responsibilities. __ *For our first phone interview & meeting/sitting, I would feel much more comfortable with you booking me via US. It is a safety precaution* __ (1 child) $27/per hr (2 children) $27-$30/per hr (3-4 children) $30-$45/per hr (More than 4 children) $45-$55/per hr

Samantha put my mind completely at ease leaving my kids with her. She’s capable, confident and so kind! My youngest is tough work and they had a great time, immediately was asking when Samantha could come back! Highly recommend!

I have been working at a pre school for 9 months. I worked mostly with infants and toddlers. I loved my job but I needed a more flexible schedule since I am going to school. I am a future dental student and I have some degree of medical knowledge. I hold a certificate in CPR for both infants and adults as well as taken some child development courses. I also have experience with child on the autism spectrum and developmental problems. I have a BA in psychological sciences. I am also willing to take care of animal dogs and cats. Sorry no exotic animals! I have an old dog he’s 15 with many medical issues so I believe have experience caring for animals Fun fact I helped my cousin’ s dog give birth and pulled out three healthy puppies! Look forward to hearing from you! Thank you

I booked Carolina last minute to care for my 3 month baby. She was on time and good at communication. She texted feeding timed and nap times, as well as photos throughout the day. She is enthusiastic with age-appropriate activities.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
