I’m Briana, an experienced sitter for over 10 years. I cook, clean, and love to care for kids. From diapering to driving kids to their activities, I’m experienced with it all. When it comes to my style with care giving, I like to practice the just go with it method. Playing with kids, no matter their age, is a lot of improv. I enjoy forming connections with kids and supporting their natural preferences and curiosity, as long as they’re staying safe! I’ve recently been inspired by the RIE philosophy, studying and practicing it for 3 years. I enjoy nurturing each child’s curiosity, autonomy, and natural development. This means I create a calm and safe environment where kids can play at their own pace to naturally learn about the world around them, from infancy to childhood. I observe and respond thoughtfully to their cues as they explore and take it all in. I am the eldest grandchild in family, so taking care of little ones has always felt natural. During my 5 years living and studying in San Francisco, I worked extensively with kids whose ages ranged from 6months to 8 years old, often staying with one family for years as the children grew. I also had 5 months experience with an infant in Fontana. I love working with children of all ages and find it very easy to form relationships with those I care for. I enjoy singing, baking, playing outdoors and all things creative. I also teach yoga so I am always up to date with my CPR certification. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, and fish if you need help with pets at home. I also maintain my own small greenhouse and know my way around a garden, if you ever need help tending to your plants. Hi! I love working with children and I have several years of experience. Throughout my four years of attending college in New York, I worked for a babysitting agency and helped care for children from many different families. Through this experience, I learned how to keep kids engaged and comfortable while we’re together. I love being creative with kids, coming up with fun games to play, helping with homework, etc. :)

I have helped raise my nieces and nephews since day one, as well as other families in my professional experience. I am comfortable caring for and watching newborns/infants, toddlers, and children of all ages. I have cared for children on the spectrum and with other learning difficulties. I graduated from East LoS Angeles Community college. I received my associates in child development. I just received my bachelors at Cal State LA in Child Development. I used to be a foster mother so I know transitions can be hard for some children. I have two children of my own but they are now in elementary and I am looking to work in taking care of others peoples beautiful children in the process. I am a dog mom as well therefore I don’t mind taking walks around the block with your little one and your fur baby if that is something you’re interested in. Being outdoors and showing children, elderly and pets how beautiful the day is something I enjoy doing. I am familiar with IEP therefore if your child needs extra help by communicating with baby sign language I can help with that. The one thing I like to mention is I know my alphabet in 3 different languages and I find it a fun thing to teach children. Working on cognitive, gros motor and fine motor skills is also an important factor for me that I would love to implement with your child if you are interested. 😊
