A few things about me! My name is Jessica Garcia. I have two beautiful daughters.🥰 I graduated from San Francisco State University. I’ve been with UrbanSitter for a bit over 6 years. I LOVE taking care of children and I’m really good at it :) It comes naturally!

Jessica is amazing!! We hired her on a trip to SD and she jumped right in and took amazing care of our 14 month old! Super prompt, caring, responsible. Fed him, took him to the park, played with him, and made me feel so comfortable leaving him with a new person. Wish she lived in my area so I could have her with my kiddos more often.

Hi, I'm Myarra and I've lived my whole life in San Diego! I’ve enjoyed every opportunity I’ve had to look after children and spend time with them! I’ve volunteered as a tutor for grades PreK-12 and took part in many community events like beach cleanups, marathons, etc., as well as worked as a lead counselor and supervisor for camps the past few summers. I worked at a local ice rink that is heavily involved with children and helped out with their figure skating academy lessons and hosted children's birthday parties! If you’re interested in my services, please feel free to reach out!

Hi dear families, My name is Cecilia, I’m 31 years old. I’m a part-time babysitter who loves play and learn with children. With 7 years of experience caring for wonderful children of all ages, including infants and toddlers. I am responsible, organized, and kind. I prioritize safety and am also creative with crafts and Montessori activities to help children play and grow through their senses. I love to help my kids to communicate with sign language and if the parents prefer also I love to teach them Spanish words. I am an excellent driver, have completed various childcare courses and training including CPR. I have a couple of families who would be more than happy to share their experience. I look forward to hearing from you. Ceci Monroy

Ceci was with our family for nearly two years, caring for our son until he started school at 2 years old. The love and patience she showed him every day meant everything to us. She is incredibly attentive and nurturing, always tuned into his needs, and she made his days so full of joy. She came up with the sweetest art projects and playful learning activities that supported his milestones and early education in such a natural, thoughtful way. We always felt complete peace of mind knowing he was safe, happy, and deeply cared for in her presence. We’ll forever be grateful for the warmth, stability, and love she gave him during such a special chapter of his childhood. She has our full trust and we would recommend her to anyone without hesitation.

I have experience working at an after school care program caring for TK-5th graders. I facilitated indoor and outdoor activities, coordinated snack time, monitored and assisted with homework and ensured safe, organized pick ups/drop offs. I also worked with teens that had special needs as a teacher’s assistant while in school. After high school, I cared for two kids (ages 2 and 4) for almost a year in their home while working towards my degree in child development. After that, I started caring for an 11 month old in her home. I would read to her, take her outside or to the park, feed her, and more. After she started school, I started watching a 9 month old and a 3 year old in their home, very similar to my other jobs. I also have younger siblings that range from 9-1 years old and I’ve taken care of each of them while my parents were working.

Athena was on time and very sweet! Our boys loved her. She kept them safe and we would definitely recommend her!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
