Hi, I'm Myarra and I've lived my whole life in San Diego! I’ve enjoyed every opportunity I’ve had to look after children and spend time with them! I’ve volunteered as a tutor for grades PreK-12 and took part in many community events like beach cleanups, marathons, etc., as well as worked as a lead counselor and supervisor for camps the past few summers. I worked at a local ice rink that is heavily involved with children and helped out with their figure skating academy lessons and hosted children's birthday parties! Hi dear families, My name is Cecilia, I’m 31 years old. I’m a part-time babysitter who loves play and learn with children. With 7 years of experience caring for wonderful children of all ages, including infants and toddlers. I am responsible, organized, and kind. I prioritize safety and am also creative with crafts and Montessori activities to help children play and grow through their senses. I love to help my kids to communicate with sign language and if the parents prefer also I love to teach them Spanish words. I have experience working at an after school care program caring for TK-5th graders. I facilitated indoor and outdoor activities, coordinated snack time, monitored and assisted with homework and ensured safe, organized pick ups/drop offs. I also worked with teens that had special needs as a teacher’s assistant while in school. After high school, I cared for two kids (ages 2 and 4) for almost a year in their home while working towards my degree in child development. After that, I started caring for an 11 month old in her home. I would read to her, take her outside or to the park, feed her, and more. After she started school, I started watching a 9 month old and a 3 year old in their home, very similar to my other jobs. I also have younger siblings that range from 9-1 years old and I’ve taken care of each of them while my parents were working.
