Booked by 1 family in Solana Beach, CA

Hey there! My name is Anum, 35, 13 year Air Force veteran. If you’re looking for a responsible, caring, well-rounded, and trustworthy person then I’m your gal! I’ve worked in healthcare as a CNA. I have my Certified Nursing Assistant cert., Restorative Nursing Assistant cert., Basic Life Support (BLS). I have previously worked as an In-home caregiver for elderly. I have tons of experience w/ all ages and love working with children. My past significant work experience is as a Financial Analyst and Internal Controls, while in the Air Force. Recent experience with kids ages ranging from infant to 12 years old. I am experienced with multiple kids. Recently worked with families with 18 month old twins and currently work full-time (flexible schedule) with another family with 6 and 7 year olds. I’m currently open to doing occasional babysitting for another family. I’m currently in school part-time and have a relatively flexible schedule. Experienced in elderly care (dementia care, post stroke, cancer patients, post surgery, hygiene, meals, medication reminders, transfers, vitals, etc) If your care needs require transportation (using my car) then I drive a 2024 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring. I have a clean driving record and safe driving habits. I haven’t had any issues w/ driving a provided car either. My care strategy is simple: learn care needs via instruction/observation and provide care based on your preference and needs. I’d love to help your young people reach and exceed developmental milestones! A daily activities schedule is appreciated, but not required. I’ll be sure to keep the kiddos on time to minimize any disruption to your families schedule. I’m flexible and can adapt to any circumstances. I can be chatty, fun, interactive, but also know how to bring it down to a relaxed and laid back environment. Pets! I love the furry family members and would be happy to help with them as well. I’m happy to help w/ light housekeeping as a part of nanny/babysitting duties and am open to discuss increased rates for more intensive housekeeping/personal assistant needs. Feel free to ask me any questions you have and book me for a trial! You and your family won’t be disappointed! -Anum

Kate San Diego
$30 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Kate, and I’m a Registered Nurse with over five years of nannying experience caring for children from early toddlerhood through age 10 and older. In addition to childcare, I have worked as a nurse in both a skilled nursing facility (SNF) and a hospital setting, where I’ve developed strong clinical skills, compassion, and the ability to remain calm and confident in any situation. My medical background gives families added peace of mind, knowing their children are in safe, capable hands. I genuinely enjoy building meaningful relationships with children and creating a fun, positive, and nurturing environment where they feel supported and encouraged to learn and grow. Whether it’s helping with homework, preparing meals, engaging in arts and crafts, spending time outdoors, reading stories, or maintaining bedtime routines, I strive to make each day enjoyable while prioritizing safety and kindness. I am dependable, patient, organized, and attentive to each child’s individual needs. I’m also happy to assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, and pet care if needed. My goal is to provide families with reliable, loving care and to be someone both parents and children can trust.

Kendall 1 review
San Diego
$20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Solana Beach, CA

Hi, my name is Kendall and I’m a second year at UCSD! I am offering childcare, pet care, and household services. My brother was born when I was 10 and our parents were/are often gone (nurse and firefighter), so I’ve helped raise him since he was born- getting him ready and driving him to and from school, activities, putting him to sleep, etc. I’ve been babysitting for other families since I was 13, including babies around 1 year old. This past summer I nannied a 12 month old and 16 month old, which consisted of feeding/changing, driving to daycare, helping around the house and cleaning pump parts. I’ve taught swim lessons at UC Berkeley for the past 4 summers, as well as private lessons, for toddlers and kids of many ages, and am first aid and CPR certified :) I’m also a HUGE animal lover: I raised my own baby dog since 7 weeks and she’s now 5 and a half and the light of my life. I’ve pet-sat many dogs, cats, and even birds. I’ve had my license since May of 2022 and have a reliable car that I can use to drive kids and fur babies if helpful. I’m happy to provide references for any of these services, and look forward to meeting you and your little ones! 🩵

Kendall came to the rescue when I was planning a trip to San Diego and needed a sitter for my 4 month old. She responded promptly to my message on the app and we were able to schedule a phone interview quickly. She is CPR certified! And arrived exactly on time. The day of the job I spent about 10 minutes making sure my fussy baby wouldn’t stress out Kendall. Not at all. Kendall was calm and in control of the situation, took baby for a baby wearing walk and I was able to leave for my event confident that she would be a competent caretaker. Before the gig we went over qualifications and worst case scenarios, and she had great responses. I asked Kendall to send me pictures while she watched my baby and she did. 10/10 I know who to hire next time I’m in San Diego with my child! Kendall is so sweet she is the best.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
