Outside of my own family, I’ve spent time caring for children in my community and during college. I worked at youth camps and served as a counselor, leading activities, helping kids build friendships, and supporting them through the ups and downs of being young. I also worked with the Boys and Girls Club, mentoring kids both academically and socially. Those experiences helped me develop my own style of caregiving — warm, creative, and centered around helping each child feel seen and capable. I recently graduated from college, and my education helped strengthen my communication and leadership skills.
