Loved Zuri! As soon as she arrived she took over immediately and was super caring with my son. Although the night was cut short I was really anxious about him being in others care and she was able to exceed her expectations definitely will continue to book with her.

Hello Parents, my name is Deanna. I am a certified postpartum doula and childcare professional with over 10 years of experience caring for children from infancy through elementary school age. Families trust me because I combine expertise, patience, and a warm, dependable presence. I specialize in newborn and infant care—supporting feeding, sleep routines, and early development—but I also love engaging with toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children. Whether it’s creating structured play for little ones, helping with homework, or keeping kids active and entertained, I tailor my approach to meet each child’s needs. What I provide: • Safe, nurturing care for infants with focus on early milestones • Creative and educational play for toddlers and preschoolers • Homework help and after-school support for elementary-age children • Calm, reliable presence that gives parents peace of mind • Household support to ease busy family routines Parents often describe me as professional, patient, and someone their children connect with right away. I understand the trust it takes to invite someone into your home, and I take that responsibility seriously. If you’re looking for a caregiver who can grow with your family—supporting your little one from the baby stage all the way through the school years—I’d love to connect. If your interested in booking me, please read my policy. Once you have scheduled a job with me, I assume you agree to the terms of this agreement. I look forward to meeting your family! Payment Policy: I plan my time and budget according to hours booked, so I require that I am paid for the entire booking regardless of hours actually worked. Booking Policy: If your looking to book me, I have a 4 hour minimum. (except for interviews) Cancellation Policy: Since I am requested by a lot of parents, I need a 24 to 48 hour notice of cancellation so I can book another family. If you do not cancel within that time frame, I request half payment of what would have made during the original booking. If I must cancel because I am either sick or have an emergency. I will make every effort to find you a replacement sitter. Additionally, on the next job, I will babysit an hour for free since I know cancelling can be an inconvenience.

Deanna is amazing and we couldn't recommend her more highly. She has saved the day on more than one occasion, is super friendly, always comes up with fun things to do with the kids, and most importantly, our kids love her. She's also fun to have around the house. Five sparkly stars.

Booked by 5 families in Universal City, CA

Hi! I'm Anya! I've been babysitting for 10 years. I have experience with all ages and types of kids; including long term gigs with autistic kids, twin toddlers, and 4 boys. Nothing scares me! I've truly seen it all. My style is safety first, but leading with love, care, understanding, and a whole lot of patience. I'm also a professional mermaid, kids tend to dig that. (if you want to hire me as a mermaid for a birthday party we can also discuss that!) I've also tutored for several years, particularly in math. Math is something a lot of kids find frustrating- the way I handle it is depressurizing the situation and that goes a long way in math and generally babysitting. Kids tend to love me because I am gentle, but honest with them. I want them to respect me because l've made them feel like they can trust me, not because I force them to. Ilove the outdoors and creative play. Taking kids to the beach, painting, dance parties, are all things love. Also open to household chores, whatever you need done! Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have l am super open to talk to. Communication is key after all!

Anya was prompt, friendly, and had a great time with our baby! Even helped with household chores which I was not expecting. I look forward to booking again!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
