Hi! I’m Lauren. I was born and raised in LA and am one of 3 siblings. I started babysitting my younger brother when he was 1 and I was 11, and I started working with kids ages 4+ through my middle school around that time. I spent my last 2 years of high school in south India where through my school, I helped design and execute a curriculum about puberty, feminine health, and physical safety to empower school-aged girls in rural communities. I returned to LA in 2020, and have been working and studying fashion ever since. My favorite activities to do with children are reading, drawing, arts and crafts, playing pretend, building, and more! As someone who has the lived experience of being neurodivergent and having chronic health issues, I’m more than comfortable with and happy to work with children experiencing the same things! I can also take care of light cleaning, organizing and meal prep, among other things. I’m COVID-conscious (fully vaccinated), and child/infant CPR and first aid certified. My biggest priorities in my approach to childcare are being positive, loving, silly, and engaging, while maintaining routine. I’m a huge team player and believe in continuity between your parenting and my care. I can’t wait to meet you and your family!

Lauren is super reliable, friendly and great with kids. She helped our little one feel really at ease even though she was a new person for him, and was great at keeping us updated so we could relax too. She's helpful around the house and overall a lovely person, definitely reccommend!

Hi, I’m Jenna! I graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in Fine Art. I currently work as a freelance video editor and teach private and group art classes with my twin sister. We offer art lessons for children ages 20 months and up, and can always combine babysitting with a fun, creative art activity as well. Feel free to reach out if you're interested or would like more information! 🎨 👩‍🎨 ig:creativespace.santamonica I have over 15 years experience working with toddlers and kids of all ages, and can provide references if needed. I look forward to hearing from you!

Jenna has been sitting for my two boys (now 4 and 6) for years, and she is just incredible! She is very sweet, understanding, energetic, professional and responsible (and punctual), and brings a joyful, positive attitude to each visit. She has watched the boys during the day and in the evening, taken them on park/playground outings, and picked them up from school. Her attention is always 100% on the kids, and she is very creative about making each visit fun with board games and arts projects (she's an amazing artist!). My boys look forward to her coming and always have a wonderful time. From meals, to bedtime, to boo-boos, she has it covered and is always available for status updates. She is also very flexible and is very accommodating when our schedule or plans change. We recommend her very highly and would be happy to answer any questions or share more about our experiences!

Caring for kids and pets is truly my life! I’ve been around them since childhood, helping raise my siblings and gaining over 10 years of experience as a dog groomer. I’m also a mom, trained in first aid for both children and animals, and I absolutely love creating a safe, happy, and loving environment for them. Being around kids and pets is what makes me happiest.

She was great.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
