Hello... I am a mature lady with abundant energy and fun-loving disposition...I am a very experienced babysitter... Mother of six /Grandmother, too! I live in Santee but occasionally spend time in La Jolla or Laguna Niguel at my children’s homes and when I do I apply for work in those areas, as well as, when I am at home in Santee🙂 I loved spending many years helping my grown children by taking care of their little ones💗while they were working! Besides helping them out I experienced a great deal of happiness being with my grandchildren! Here in California I have two beautiful Grand-daughters that I love spending time with when their busy schedules permit! I am on call for babysitting on date night for my kids and the families I babysit for, also! I have movie night on some Fridays with my 10 year old and 13 year old Grand-sons! A little something about me: I'm from Maine, and have resided in some awesome cities, such as, Palm Beach, San Francisco, Los Angeles, where I've had the great pleasure of singing with the Agape choir, performing with talented artists like John Legend, and now currently living in San Diego! I am a published artist, love theater, and have especially loved watching my six kids grow into successful, creative, kind, individuals! I have plenty of available time for babysitting and babysitting for families who need child care is a continuation of doing what I love to do... So far most of the families I have done babysitting for have paid me in cash....which is my preference! Would that work for you? I am often paid by Venmo or Zelle and that is fine, as well🙂 I do have some availability in my schedule and would like to discuss the specifics of what you will be requiring to meet the needs of your family! Sad to say but because of the high cost of gas I’ve had to increase my rate from $18 to $20 for one child & $25 for two or more children, also, I have to require a 4 hour minimum☹️ I look forward to hearing from you! Have a great day! Carol🌷

Carol was excellent! Looking forward to having her again

• Bachelor’s in Sociology with a minor in Child Development • Master’s in Education in progress • Certified child care provider in the state of California includes: yearly CPR certification, vaccinations, trust line certified, and more! I believe my experience aligns well with what you’re looking for because I’m a very compassionate and self motivated individual. My family has a licensed childcare center. The way we’ve seen our mother teach, guide, support, and encourage little ones is definitely the reason my sisters and I began our journey toward working with children and the root to our ongoing career paths. When time permits I supervise the children and assistants. As well as connect with parents and keep them up to date. Moreover, I worked at an elementary school in Hermosa Beach and at behavioral health network as a Behavior Technician. In regards to nannying I have experience all around - overnight stays, date nights, part time position, and full time position ( I was with my previous family for two years:) Mothers helper: I come in as an extra set of hands for a couple of hours to take care of typical household needs. Which includes laundry, tidying, organizing, and light cleaning. I am open to running errands/ grocery shopping - gas fee add on. This does not include childcare coverage, but can for an increase hourly rate. Nanny work: I enjoy spending time with children (art, reading, outdoor play, etc.) and helping them get out of their comfort zone. When it comes to activities with the child/children it really depends on what you’re open to as the parent. If I’m given a budget we could go to the zoo, aquarium, etc. Of course there’s always the park, library, and playing at home. I’m open to using my car when needed (with gas reimbursement:). Overall, I always keep in mind on what’s in the best interest for the child (of course, with the input of the parents). Note: Regardless of the type of booking I want to emphases that my job is to focus on the well being and development of your child/ children. When time permits I don’t mind unloading/ loading dishwasher, etc. I am in no means a professional cook or cleaner. *I have experience house- sitting and dog sitting as well! * rates vary on holiday bookings * If this is something that works for you I look forward on connecting further. Respectfully, Susana

Hello! My name is Joanna, I’m 28 years old and I’m originally from Poland/Italy. I was an AuPair in America (live in nanny) in 2[removed] and again in 2022-2023. I am CPR certified and trained to always make sure kids are safe. I have lots of experience in taking care of 3 or more kids at the same time and toddlers. I started babysitting around 10 years ago. I am an Italian tutor so I will be happy to teach your kids some new words (I’m fluent in Polish, Italian, English and I’m currently learning Spanish) and help them with homework. I always do my best to encourage kids to spend time in an active way and teach them about healthy lifestyle because I’m also a Personal Trainer and I’m very passionate about fitness. I am extremely reliable, responsible and punctual. I never canceled any of my babysittings and during the years as an AuPair never took an unexpected day off. I love to spend time with children and be a great role model for them. I’m happy to introduce myself better over a quick phone call 😊 + I am also a very strong driver with clean driving record and a reliable, safe car

She was so warm, our kids took to Joanna immediately!! We will definitely be calling her again very soon!

Hello parent(s) and families! My name is Taylor and I am 26 years old. I am currently taking a break from school and am looking for occasional, part-time or full-time jobs as a sitter. I love children of all ages and am also pet friendly. I can understand Spanish and speak it, but not fluently. I worked at the YMCA as a junior camp counselor over a summer and have been babysitting for about 8-10 years now. Prior, I would watch my younger siblings when my mom had to run errands or go out. Apart from watching over a group as a camp counselor, I have babysat 4 children at most and 2 pets (at one time.) The ages I have been a caregiver for while babysitting was 6mo and older. I love spending time with kids, making them laugh, doing activities with them and having movie time. I am active and would enjoy taking them outdoors when possible. I would also be able to help with homework if needed. My favorite subject is English/Writing. If you have any additional questions, please do not be afraid to ask! I also have a few repeat families that I have been working for for at least a year and a half now and I would be more than happy to have them verify. Thank you! :)

We enjoyed working with Taylor. Good communication and very sweet with kids. My daughter had a lot of fun.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
