Hi! My name is Sayuri and I’m currently a first-year college student. I’m offering childcare, babysitting, and tutoring services. I genuinely love working with kids and have experience babysitting for several families, as well as caring for my younger siblings and cousins. I’ve cared for children of all ages, from little ones to teenagers, with most of my regular babysitting experience being with children ages 1–5. I’m comfortable adapting to different ages, personalities, and needs, and I’m happy to work with families with children of any age.I love doing arts and crafts, reading with kids, playing imaginative games, and finding fun ways to keep them entertained. I also offer tutoring and enjoy helping children learn in a way that feels encouraging and enjoyable rather than stressful.I’m responsible, patient, reliable, and very attentive. I understand that every child and family has their own routines and needs, so I’m happy to adapt and follow whatever works best for your family. I know how important trust is when it comes to having someone care for your children, and I always want parents to feel confident and at ease while their little ones are with me. I’d love the opportunity to become a sitter your family can rely on whenever you need an extra pair of hands! :)

I’m a nursing student in Santa Monica with several years of childcare experience. I currently babysit for a couple other families and have multiple references available. I’m CPR/BLS certified, reliable, and comfortable with routines, homework help, driving, activities, and light cleaning. I’m also great with pets!

“We are so grateful for Selina! She accepted a job super last minute and was so wonderful with our 4 and 9 year old. She is punctual, jumps in to help and takes initiative. My kids bonded with her immediately and can’t wait until the next time they can see her. Thank you Selina!”

Hi, I’m Jenna! I graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in Fine Art. I currently work as a freelance video editor and teach private and group art classes with my twin sister. We offer art lessons for children ages 20 months and up, and can always combine babysitting with a fun, creative art activity as well. Feel free to reach out if you're interested or would like more information! 🎨 👩‍🎨 ig:creativespace.santamonica I have over 15 years experience working with toddlers and kids of all ages, and can provide references if needed. I look forward to hearing from you!

“Jenna has been sitting for my two boys (now 4 and 6) for years, and she is just incredible! She is very sweet, understanding, energetic, professional and responsible (and punctual), and brings a joyful, positive attitude to each visit. She has watched the boys during the day and in the evening, taken them on park/playground outings, and picked them up from school. Her attention is always 100% on the kids, and she is very creative about making each visit fun with board games and arts projects (she's an amazing artist!). My boys look forward to her coming and always have a wonderful time. From meals, to bedtime, to boo-boos, she has it covered and is always available for status updates. She is also very flexible and is very accommodating when our schedule or plans change. We recommend her very highly and would be happy to answer any questions or share more about our experiences!”

Hi parents, New to UrbanSitter, Santa Monica local for over 33 years, mom and USC Graduate. I have been babysitting and tutoring for over 30 years. Originally I came to the US as an Aupair when I was 18 and took care of an infant and elementary school age children. Over the years during college and graduate school here in LA I continued to provide part-time nanny and babysitter services. I have also continued to care for children of all ages when I became a mom because I love taking care of and teaching children and often watched friends’ kids and organized playdates when they were younger. I am very active, love the outdoors and the beach, I even own an e-scooter so I am a cool 😎 mom, and I play soccer, love to bike, hike, can teach swimming and beach and ocean safety. I am a certified USA triathlon coach and ex-triathlete and marathoner, and I also taught German and digital media classes at USC, my Alma Mater where I graduated with two Master’s degrees. I am known to be responsible, mature, caring, and loving. I love to give hugs and listen, have advanced certifications in childcare and I am First Aid/AED/CPR certified for infants, children and adults. I look forward to helping you with your babies, kids and even your furry friends 🤗

“Patricia was wonderful with my kids. She was warm, kind, thoughtful, and very present with them. She really tuned in to their individual needs, and they both felt comfortable with her right away. They had a great time together and have already asked when she’s coming back. I felt completely comfortable having her with them and would absolutely have her back.”

Caring for kids and pets is truly my life! I’ve been around them since childhood, helping raise my siblings and gaining over 10 years of experience as a dog groomer. I’m also a mom, trained in first aid for both children and animals, and I absolutely love creating a safe, happy, and loving environment for them. Being around kids and pets is what makes me happiest.

“She was great.”

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
