Nikolina $18 per hour for 1 child

My current experience in care-giving is helping take care of my best friend's 2-year old baby girl (She's a single mother with no family around). I have spent half and full days with her alone. I also helped care for her throughout her young life. We have a very tight, and loving bond. The reference can be provided by her mother if needed. I also babysat an 8 year old girl and her 2 year old brother (focusing on her) back in high school. But I understand that experience may not be relevant anymore. I do have a genuine, God given love for children. Caring for them, listening to them, and being around them. I never had the means to finish higher education but I was a great student all throughout the schooling I did receive. My eagerness to learn is still very much here. So whatever your needs for your child may be, I will do my best to accommodate them. My approach with children is to treat them with kindness, gentleness, structure, and to listen/observe for their needs. I am moving to west Florida towards the end of the year. But if I can be of help until then, please feel free to reach out.

I am a compassionate, reliable caregiver with a diverse background in wellness, childcare, and senior support. I bring a positive, upbeat energy into every home and am deeply committed to helping others feel safe, supported, and cared for. I have hands-on experience supporting seniors and individuals undergoing chemotherapy and managing Parkinson’s, with a strong focus on attentive care, comfort, and emotional support. I also assist with transportation to medical appointments, running errands, and daily tasks to make life easier and more manageable. I am also an airline pilot and took a meaningful break from flying to care for my own mother during her health journey. That experience deepened my compassion, patience, and understanding of the level of care and attention families truly need during difficult times. As a certified yoga instructor and group fitness instructor, I have taught private sessions to seniors in both yoga and aquafit, helping improve mobility, strength, and overall well-being in a safe and encouraging environment. My experience with children began at a young age through neighborhood babysitting and continued as a youth soccer coach for 4–5 year olds, a swim instructor, and a teacher’s assistant for young children. I have also worked with children with special needs, including teaching swimming lessons to children with Down syndrome to support coordination and gait development. I love engaging children through creativity—whether it’s sewing projects, putting on plays, or encouraging them to sing, dance, and express themselves. I strive to create a fun, active, and nurturing environment where kids can learn, build confidence, and thrive. I am naturally curious and love learning, especially when it comes to science and how the body works. I enjoy helping children learn and grow, and I have experience tutoring both economics and math at the college level, bringing patience and clarity to every lesson. In addition, I’ve completed nutrition coursework through the Gerson Institute, gaining knowledge in preparing nourishing meals and fresh juices to support overall health and wellness. I am passionate about helping others live their best lives and approach every role with kindness, patience, and respect. My background as a certified spinning instructor, yoga teacher, and airline pilot reflects my discipline, reliability, and strong commitment to safety and service. I’m new to UrbanSitter, but I’m happy to provide references.

Camille was referred to me by a neighbor who gave her a glowing recommendation. I first hired Camille nearly five years ago when I needed help caring for my grandson, who was visiting from Hawaii. She was wonderful when I dropped him off at her home, she had the pool ready and games planned. He had a fantastic time, and she truly helped me out while I needed to complete a work project. I later hired Camille again to help care for my aunt, who had Parkinson’s disease. She stayed with us until my aunts passing. My Aunt Helga always looked forward to Camille’s visits. They went on walks, practiced gentle yoga, and Camille kept her active and engaged for as long as possible. As her condition progressed, Camille also supported our family through hospice care. Camille is dependable, attentive, and genuinely caring. No one alone in our family could have balanced work and my aunts care without her help. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate caregiver.

Danielle $25 per hour for 1 child

I have over 13 years of experience in real estate and lending and currently work remotely. I'm looking for a caregiving position as a second job because I genuinely enjoy helping people and staying busy. I'm dependable, caring, patient, and easy to get along with. I have a fun personality, a great sense of humor, and can usually make people laugh and feel comfortable around me. I have experience helping care for an infant for a coworker and have also spent a lot of time around my friends' children, helping out whenever needed. In addition, my boyfriend is a full-time caregiver for his mother, who has dementia, and I've spent a significant amount of time helping care for her and assisting with her daily needs. Through that experience, I've learned the importance of patience, compassion, understanding, and being able to adapt to different situations. I've also cared for pets and am happy to help with companionship, errands, meal prep, light housekeeping, and day-to-day tasks. I genuinely enjoy spending time with people, whether that's chatting over coffee, going for walks, playing games, running errands, or simply being there to provide support and company. People often describe me as trustworthy, reliable, down-to-earth, and someone who truly cares about others. I treat people the way I would want my own family members treated and always try to bring a positive attitude and a little laughter wherever I go.

Amanda $16 per hour for 1 child

Hey there! I’m Amanda, a 25-year-old Navy veteran, stay-at-home mom, and MMA fighter. I’ve spent years caring for children of all ages, from helping raise younger siblings and babysitting throughout my teens to volunteering in military childcare programs. Now, as a mom to my energetic one-year-old son, I understand firsthand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and attentive to care for your little ones. I’m looking to earn extra income as a stay-at-home mother, so I would need to bring my son with me during babysitting jobs. I’d love the opportunity to provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for your family while helping support mine.

Ingrid $20 per hour for 1 child

Greetings. My name is Ingrid. I am originally from Brooklyn, New York where I began my career working with and developing children. I began as a child myself at the age of 16. I worked at a Summer camp at an athletic center and worked there for the next 4 years. I then worked at various companies including the The NYCDOE, Sports and Arts, NYJTL, YMCA and Urban Jungle Play for the next 20 years until Covid-19 changed everything for everyone. I love children and animals very much and I love caring for them. I also currently pet sit via Rover. I look forward to connecting with families and helping them.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
