Tierra 1 review
$25 per hour for 1 child

Hi, I’m Tierra — a nurturing childcare professional and experienced educator with a Master’s in Education and a passion for child‑led learning. I am CPR and first aid certified. My professional experience is rooted in the Reggio Emilia philosophy, where I honor each child’s voice, curiosity, and right to explore the world around them. I currently support a wonderful family on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings. I’m now looking to partner with a family in need of morning care on those days and full day care on Tuesdays and Thursdays. With years of teaching experience from PreK through 5th grade, I bring both gentle care and educational insight to every home I serve. Whether we’re discovering nature together or building confidence through play, I offer a calm, respectful presence — along with optional tutoring sessions for families seeking academic support.

Tierra was one of my son's daycare teachers from when he was five months old until around 14 months old. He absolutely LOVED her, as did all the other children in the class from what I saw. The daycare was right next to my office so I would frequently visit during the day and had the opportunity to see how Tierra interacted with the babies. She was an excellent caretaker, even when the kids were young and not mobile so they required a lot of help. She was also very patient, which is of course necessary when dealing with infants and toddlers but not always easy to do. Better than just being good at caring FOR the babies, she also cared ABOUT them. She had funny nicknames for each child and always knew what to do or say to make them laugh. I would definitely recommend her as a babysitter!!

I’m happy to help families keep their homes clean, organized, and running smoothly by assisting with laundry, dishes, tidying up, organizing, and general housekeeping tasks as needed. Whether you’re looking for occasional date night care, recurring babysitting, after school help, last minute support, or housekeeping assistance, I’d love the opportunity to become someone your family can rely on. Greetings! I’m Ayanna and I’m an art educator offering child care, pet care, and household support. I’ve taught and worked with children from Pre-K through 5th grade for over five years, and I also have experience caring for infants and toddlers outside the classroom. I love helping kids feel safe, understood, and excited to learn. My childcare style blends creativity, patience, and calm structure. I’m great with imaginative play, sensory-friendly activities, homework help, and creating simple routines that support emotional regulation and independence. Families describe me as warm, reliable, and easy for kids to connect with. I am also comfortable helping with light household tasks such as tidying, prepping meals or snacks, organizing shared spaces, and running errands. Grocery shopping is genuinely one of my favorite pastimes. I was a 5 star Instacart shopper and still enjoy it. I am a big pet lover and happy to care for cats, dogs, and other furry friends. I show up with creativity, compassion, and intentional care so your home feels supported and your kids feel seen, safe, and engaged. I’d love to meet your family.

Nyeah $18 per hour for 1 child

I have a strong background in caregiving, with experience supporting children of all ages, pets, and households. Over the years, I’ve worked with families in a variety of settings — from nurturing infants and engaging toddlers in creative play, to helping school-aged children with homework and activities. Whether I’m planning a child’s day, preparing meals, tidying up, or caring for a pet, I take pride in giving my best and building trusting relationships. I also currently work in a pediatric dentist office as a hygiene assistant so I deal with kids of all ages on a daily. Also BLS certified. But the goal is to be a full time nanny. I strive to make life smoother, happier, and more enriching for the people I care for. I can’t wait to meet the right family!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
