As a birth and postpartum doula and Newborn Care Specialist, I provide individualized care that meets families where they are. My training through Sista Midwife Productions and Full Bloom Birthing, combined with CPR and First Aid certification, has equipped me to support parents through labor, recovery, newborn adjustment, and the many changes that come with welcoming a baby. Whether I’m offering overnight newborn care, assisting during the postpartum period, or supporting a family through birth, I strive to create a calm, nurturing environment where parents can rest, recover, and feel empowered in their parenting journey. Hi, my name is Harmonie and I’m currently an educator in Decatur. When I not spending time with my kids, I’m making art of spending time with my dog. I’m offering dog sitting and babysitting services. I also can cook, clean and drive to appointments/run errands if need be. I love interacting and sending time with kids! Teaching is my passion. I’ve been teaching since the age of 17 and have worked with ages as young as infants (6 months- 1 year), toddlers, school-aged children, and teens (up to 18). As the oldest in my family, so I’ve been the dedicated proxy parent for most of my life. I have had the privilege of not only raising my younger siblings as their legal guardians from age 6 through adulthood, but I’ve also been a caregiver for many local families in my hometown of Burlington, VT. I’m very passionate about giving children the environment and appropriate support to be their best unique selves. I am a business consultant and work with many small businesses looking to operate better and thrive. I share this because, ironically, people management is the same at home as it is in business.
