Hi! My name is Nicole. I am originally from Orange County, Calfornia. I received my BA in Psychology from Princeton University in 2012, completed a post-baccalaureate program at Harvard in 2015, and earned my MD from the University of Southern California (fight on!) in 2021. I moved to Chicago in June of 2021 for general surgery residency at Northwestern and am currently completing two years of academic development time, which encompasses conducting research and pursuing my Master of Science in Health Services and Outcomes Research. I am the middle child between two brothers and started babysitting when I was 12 years old. I have cared for children of all ages (from infants to teenagers) and feel very comfortable watching multiple children at a time. I was a volunteer in the pediatrics unit at Massachusetts General Hospital for three years and have done extensive coursework in child development, which included frequent visits to a preschool in New Jersey as well as the Eden Institute for children with Autism. Additionally, I have completed several pediatric surgery rotations in residency and am well-versed in pediatric medical care. I have a great deal of experience in childcare from many years of babysitting, volunteering, and schooling and love children very much.
