Activities and curriculum surrounding counting, ABCs, the weather, doing projects as another way to learn. School-age children- making sure their homework is done. Doing activities around what they are learning in school. In each age group, there are always opportunities to take little day trips to learn new things. I also love to teach children as they get a little older how to cook and how to do every day tasks. My favorite nanny moment: When a parent told me that her child wanted to add me to their family❤️ The most important part about being a nanny: For me, the most important part about being a nanny is providing a safe space for the children to thrive with lots of support and love. Making sure that they know how special and important they are. If they have that foundation, they will grow up to be amazing adults. House Management: Includes errands such as grocery shopping, post office, dry cleaners etc. Light housework such as vacuuming, dishes, tidying, organizing, prepping meals, cooking, changing children’s sheets weekly or as needed. Doing laundry etc. Household management gets done when children are at school or when children are napping, depending on the age of the children that I am caring for.
