Hi! My name is Ruby, I’m 24 years old and live on the Upper West Side. I’ve been babysitting and nannying since I was 16 and have over 3 years of experience as an American Red Cross–certified lifeguard, with strong training in water safety, CPR, and first aid. I have worked at many residential pools as well as a swim school, engaging with children of various ages. I’m very comfortable managing routines, keeping kids engaged, and ensuring a safe, fun environment. I’m dependable, patient, and attentive, and I genuinely enjoy building trusting relationships with both kids and parents. I’m happy to help with light meal prep, homework, bedtime routines, and anything else that helps your family run smoothly. I’m looking to support families who need an extra, reliable set of hands and would love to connect!

Ruby was amazing! She was professional, reliable and very interactive and attentive with our 1.5 year old. Will definitely book again!

I’m 21 and I’ve had plenty of experience with infants and toddlers. I took care of my sister from birth and I also had my own infant classroom and a 2 year old classroom. I have a lot of experience in feeding, changing, nap time, potty training, and developmental activities. I like to babysit and nanny because it brings me joy, kids do all of the fun things lol… play, eat, and sleep. I’ve been caring for children since the age of 11 so I’ve got a few years of experience up my sleeve. I’m okay with pets! I can help with meals and cleaning up, and I’m also happy to care for them in my own home. If the weather permits, I would like to take them to do outside activities, if not I love a good DIY craft. I do share my location and give frequent updates because I know I’d appreciate it. I also like to remind parents that when it comes to your kids you’re never asking for too much so please feel comfortable asking me to do things. Although I have a lot of experience with younger kids I’m 100% okay with caring for older children, I don’t discriminate. If you’d need me for longer than planned or for overnight care just let me know in advance and I’ll let you know what I can do! Thank you for taking the time to consider me, and have a great day! :)

Hi! My name is Alicia and I attend Lehman College. My major is sociology. I have experience with children from the ages of 6 months to 14 years old and have been working with children since the age of 13. I have a very flexible schedule on the weekends. I can prepare meals, help with bathing/dressing, changing diapers, homework, cleaning up, bedtime and plan and partake in activities with the children. I can also help with swimming supervision, transportation, light house work, and grocery shopping. I work well with multiple children since I grew up taking care of my younger siblings. I am also comfortable taking care of animals and have a dog of my own. A little more about me: I am kind, helpful, caring, patient, fun, smart, and creative. I like to read, play board games, paint, do karaoke, write, and bake. I am patient when dealing with children's needs, emotions, and behavior. I have great communication skills that help me better understand and address the child's needs. Always ensuring a safe environment for the child is of utmost importance to me. I look forward to the opportunity to be that reliable, responsible, engaging caretaker you are seeking.

Alicia came early and was very nice, attentive and responsible. My daughters said they liked her and looked forward to seeing her again. I definitely recommend her. Alicia did a wonderful job. She texted me updates as needed and was able to keep my girls engaged during a long day together. She is reliable, professional and simply a nice, considerate person. Just a pleasure to work with.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
